Pressure plate is not releasing the clutch disc.

Guessing if you try and start in gear with, tires spin with clutch in ?

So as of now Its the same when car is running wont go in gear, and when its not running goes in gear. When its running I attempt to put in 1st gear and car wants to move forward. If I start in gear car want to take off.

So i have at this point took dash underneath and checked the CLutch MC and no leaks, and then cracked open a line on brake cylinder till it was clear. Then I Had my boy pump the clutch for about 10 min. And got back under and turned the bleeder and fluid came out much faster at least and still air, did the same thing over and over still air.

So at this point I ordered a motive product pressurized bleeder from FCP Auto and I am hoping once pumped up to 15 PSI and hope it pushes out all the air. The clutch has stayed nice and tight the entire time.

I know the SC is working i can hear it and I felt it through the hole going in and out.

So thoughts sorry so long.

your clutch is not releasing,, either you have the wrong throw out bearing or it is in backwords,,, or could be the fork is not in place, . don't remember if the crossfire has a ball pivit. make sure the cable is doing it job ,if so maybe the ball id missing. have you ,,,,started the engine in second gear and shift by rpm (without using the clutch) that would tell you if the transmission is ok. I drove a car for over a month with a clutch ,,did not have funds to buy a new one.
some od the information above may not be for the crossfire i was just letting you know information that could go wrong with a clutch driven car as i have not owned a stick shift for the last 28 years. jim

I know the spline is facing the tranny long end out. The Slave cylinder is brand new. The throw out bearing is the SC. I installed a Luk clutch and Luk flywheel. Any gear starting want to take off.

I am hoping since I made this post when I pressure bleed the SC this will push out all the air.

Just checking your steps, found this

https://howtune.com/articles/178-ble...sler-crossfire

Positive, all connections are tight ?

I have not done my crossifre slave cylinder, but when bleeding, I wrap a loop in the hose before i drain into a bottle,, the loop helps with keeping fluid in the line and less chance of sucking air back in, sometimes also if i have short enough hose, i run to bottle with fluid and if it tries to draw back, it sucks in oil which gives alittle resistance.
some greas on threads helps sometimes also from air pulling it from the loose threads.

My slave cylinder does not have threads on the bleeder. I know it sounds crazy its a LuK Concentric SC. Also I called an import place this morning and they said there 90% sure it sounds like the clutch mc is bad, Since when I start the car and clutch stays firm. I am hoping the pressurized bleeding the lines will solve it but if not then I guess I am ordering a Clutch MC

But, one would think, since it was working fine before, then changing our clutch and flywheel, then it is something due to installation.

Did you do anything to any of the lines, besides change the slave cylinder?

I have a pressurized bleeder coming today, I am gonna bleed the lines. with 15 PSI and if this dont work. Then I will replace the Clutch MC.

not sure If I said this whole thing started the day I was emerging on a highway and was shifting into 3rd gear, and the there was a slight pop noise and clutch went to the floor.

Ah, no, missed that.
thought it didn't work right after clutch was changed.
