Mercedes parts ?
Mercedes parts ?
I read that crossfire had mercedes parts specifically slk parts. The guy I bought it from said clutch went out and he had a friend replace It and says it needs a new flywheel. Will dual mass flywheel from same year slk320 fit the 2004 crossfire 3.2 ?
I can find a 3.2 mercedes flywheel for 2004 320 but not a 2004 crossfire flywheel with the Mercedes 3.2
Has anybody had a simular problem ?
Luk lists them as different part #s
DMF 081 FOR MERCEDES AND DMF 079 FOR CROSSFIRE

Re: Mercedes parts ?
The LUK kit from PartsGeek seems to be the one you want. BUt I'd call Rob at Needswings.com and ask him what he has in stock.
Out of the several thousand of us on here, in the twelve years I've been here, only about ten of us have replaced the clutch. You would be better off using google for this one
Go to google, enter "Chrysler Crossfire CLutch Kit"
Then scroll down the responses to this and click on each link one at a time. DO NOT miss that last one "More results....":
