Default wheel caps

My '04 xfire wheel centre caps are water ingressed and under the perspex middle bit there is white staining as i've seen on other xfires so off to the xfire shop to enquire as to price of 4 in no.
well I all but fell over ( £51 + vat) EACH !! ie £ 200+ for 4
Am now deciding how to tackle a refurb. Maybe keep the Chrysler emblems
which are ok and mask off outer section of perspex and spray Gold perhaps.
How can Chrysler justify £50 each WOW !!!

Take care you lot.

Ouch... I had the same problem and got them replaced under warranty. New set are going the same way. They seem to only last around six months before they start to go. Xfire now 2 so perhaps 2 more sets under warranty then dunno.
