Anyone in the uk got a front rim that they want to dispose of?

Since nobody replied to Rob's request I don't hold out much hope but...

Does anyone in the UK have a set of wheels for sale? Anything considered, OEM, Mercedes or anything else, with or without tyres. I just need a spare set for track use.

i had almost forgotten i had posted that. i don't think there are any second hand ones around for sale. you are just as well looking at all the wheel makers or the speed shops for close out deals or even halfords. it should be easy if you want a set. i just need a "get home spare" since i damaged a tyre near coventry on the m6 one sat night and had to get to manchester at 45-50 mph. anyway just at the moment got a 15" one off a merc in a scrap yard.

 

Thanks for that Rob. Like you say there's not much around. I have contacted some wheel/accessory places and am weighing up the options at the moment - seen some nice MacLaren SLR replica's but it's all looking pretty pricey though! Hopefully I might get lucky with some merc offcasts on ebay or the like.

i have recently purchased a new 18" rim for the front for £115 tyre extra, from sales@autosportuk.com see photo. it is the same profile and the track is the same. it also fits on the rear.
the purpose for me is to give piece of mind whilst on those long journeys.
