Brilliant Forum
I just want to say this forum is brilliant and the members are awesome. I have only owned my car 6 months but so far I have ....
1. Repaired a sticky ignition switch at no cost, and possibly saved hundreds if it got stuck.
2. Stopped my wing coming up at start up by replacing the battery, would never have suspected that without this forum.
3. Solved the ESP light problem by actually disconnecting the battery first to reset, it would only reset for a few days by do the steering wheel thing until I disconnected the battery and reset it again.
4. Solved my Engine Management Light intermittently coming on due to a burnt relay, (filed for now and no problem since) Cost of repair $3 for a new relay plus postage, currently on its way to me.
5. Ordered Crossfire Emblems that look great.
6. Purchased door handle covers from someone suggestion as the coating was cracking on mine, and they look great.
7. Purchased a OBD for just $15 and now have access to future fault codes. I maybe would have gone to a garage to get this info, now I can get it myself.
8. Fitted a keyless entry tone for $5.
I recon I have saved hundreds and hundreds of dollars in diagnosis, repairs and maintenance all for simple silly little things. Well done everyone and its great being a member.

where did u get the door handle covers?, cause my passenger side is like a razor.
Ebay.. there is a corvette model that fit great.. leather.. about 30 bucks.. will dig up a link when I get home.. have them on the wife's roadster! Perfect solution..
I didn't get mine from ebay I actually got mine made to measure.
If you look here and scroll down you will see a photo that I posted of the finished item and I believe they were only $50-60 delivered to Oz. If you scroll a little more down you will also see a photo of the measurements I sent to the company.

Mrmiata: your're just a wealth of information and ideas... love the "short version" of the door pull handle covers. Are those the ones from the Corvette site on your post?... Also, I really love the pin striping..It reminds me of a 50 Ford I had back in the 50s...looks fabulous ..Carl
