Spot on, Never could figure out why so many continue the madness of paying off interest over interest, continually (as in every purchase refinances the whole balance). Think about it...

Re: Post Something Random (No politics)
We just got 'Covid' last month, and now dealing with that 'Long Covid' crap. Persistant deep lung cough that seems to drag on. NO IDEA who or where we got it but I got it a day after Mrs. 102+ degrees for three days, miserable...
Same, we use CC companies monies & pay off every month (no interest charges applied). No new car since the Crossfire and paid cash (in the form of a check). Also do not believe in a 'mortgage' for a vehicle (seems like a mortgage, they finance from months to 84 months now ( How Long Should You Finance A Car? – Forbes Advisor ), CRAZY).

As to a mortgage for a car - yes, a LOAN for a car is 1-2 years. 72 or 84 months is a mortgage. I admit I did borrow $5500 for the bike, but at 2.4% I took it as "free money" and paid off the $5500 in seven months anyway. That was my first vehicle loan in a LONG time. It will be my last vehicle loan, I assure you.

The reason for trapping them is to keep them from entering our attic via the solar attic fan until the screen around it is repaired by the Wildlife folks

…………….I want to make it abundantly clear that this is NOT a political statement.
if you are at all concerned about being able to drive your Crossfire, (or any vehicle of your choosing) without restrictions on fuel - direction and distance of driving - availability of parts…………you should fully understand the background of the edict issued in Washington yesterday.
The Biden administration is unleashing a flurry of regulatory actions that aims to shift the nation toward electric vehicles — with the biggest rule coming Wednesday to set strict limits on climate pollution from passenger cars.
The regulation being announced by EPA Administrator Michael Regan, as POLITICO’s E&E News reported last week, would slash greenhouse gases from cars and light trucks in half, while pushing to have electric vehicles make up about two-thirds of new passenger vehicle sales by 2032. (read more)

And an EV is powered 60% by coal/oil/gas and 18.6% by Nuclear, the rest 21% is "renewable". EVs are not "electric" and they are not "emissions free". If we'd gone 100% nuclear for electricity by now, they WOULD be emissions free.... but that didn't happen, did it?

DID YOU KNOW?
Earth's population is approximately 7.8 billion people. For most people, that's a large number, that's all.
However, if you count the world's 7.8 billion people as 100% human, these percentages become clearer.
From 100% of people:
11% are in Europe
5% is in North America
9% - in South America
15% - in Africa
60% are in Asia
49% live in villages.
51% - In cities
12% speak Chinese
5% in Spanish
5% in English
3% speak Arabic
3% in hindi
3% in bengali
3% in Portuguese
2% in Russian
2% in Japanese
62% in their own language
77% have housing
23% have nowhere to live.
21% of people eat in excess
63% can eat as much as they want
15% of the people are malnourished
The daily cost of living for 48% of people is less than $2.
87% of people have clean drinking water
13% either do not have clean drinking water or have access to a contaminated water source.
75% on the mobile phones
25% nu.
30% have internet access
70% do not have internet access
7% received higher studies
93% of people never went to college or university.
83% can read
17% of people are illiterate.
33% are Christians
22% are Muslims.
14% are Hindus
7% are Buddhists
12% - Other Religions
12% have no religious beliefs.
26% live for less than 14 years
66% have died between the ages of 15 and 64.
8% of people over 65 years of age.
If you have a place to stay, eat healthy food and drink clean water, have a mobile phone,
you can travel on the internet and you graduated from a college or university, you're in a small privileged group.
(In the category of less than 7%)
OUT OF 100% OF THE WORLD'S PEOPLE, ONLY 8% CAN LIVE TO 65 YEARS OLD.
If you are over 65 years old, be content and grateful. Seize life, seize the moment. You didn't leave this world before you turned 65, like 92% of people who have died because of health. Cherish every moment you have left!
