Thats funny cause Kell is resisting the Facebook thingy too. Even though I told him the account is for the both of us, he still doesn't get on it.

Hey Gang. The other day I was telling some of you about Debby's car's steering getting very loose.
I just replaced the steering dampener for her and she says it drives like new again.
It was a simple enough fix, takes a pair of jack stands, a little lock-tite and a few wrenchs. You can't use tire ramps as you have to turn the wheels side to side once you are under the car. Anyway, the part is now down to $20.00 from $30.00, or you can get one from a dealer for a few hundred. Here is the link for the part Steering Dampner Mercedes Benz SLK 230 320 32 AMG W170 - JoeTLC

Good luck
Great day today, hope all got home safely. Max & Sandy, we'll have to make sure we go when not during Oktoberfest.
Have to add, this was a great way to cap off the birthday week!!

Kelly and I had a great time and we look forward to getting together with everyone again soon. I definitely agree Eric, next time we go we will have to do it when its not so crowded.
Keep an eye out for the Christmas Lights Drive and dinner that we are going to plan for December. We will get that info out to everyone as soon as we get it together. All info will be posted here or on the Gateway Crossfire Group page on Facebook.

We are taking a vote if December 11th or 18th would work better for a Christmas Lights Dinner and Drive at Our Lady of The Snows. As with any of our winter activities, the XF is not expected to be the focus, this is the group getting together. However, if the weather allows, we'll be driving ours.
Please respond by Sunday evening, November 28 if you are interested in going and which day would work better for you. Thanks.
(sadly Shark067 is schedule to work every weekend in Dec and it doesn't appear he'll be able to make it. )

Since Kelly is working, no since in sitting home alone. Count me in. The 11th is the best date for me.

It's not looking good for a drive. Half the responses could do the 11th and half the 18th. 3, maybe 4 could do the 11th, 4 could do the 18th. Not to forget the spirits (ghostly) among us. So we're thinking of going to plan B.
How does Sunday afternoon, December 12th sound to have lunch and just visit with one another prior to the Holidays?
Please respond as soon as possible. Thanks!

We are still fine with it, and my crossfire is staying home regardless of having tires on it that are supposed to be good with snow...I don't trust the other people. Sonza's are going as well, but may be closer to 12:30.

Well folks, it's that time of year again...almost. Yes, Eagle Days is quickly approaching!
As I'm sure Kell is very busy with his job(s), last I heard he had two of them. So to spare him having to organize another drive/meet, Ruth and I will take care of it.
This is a family event, and Crossfires are not required. We will meet at the Cracker Barrel in St. Charles, MO near Hwy 70 and 5th St, 901 Veterans Memorial Pkwy. (Outer road of Hwy 70). Leave Cracker Barrel between 10:00 and 10:30 to head to Clarksville. We will watch a Live Eagle Show at noon. After the show we will head to Crown Valley for lunch. Please post how many will be joining us for each of the three events by January 22 so we can make reservations.
