Default How not to spend a day in Connecticut

I was driving on a back road near Gillette's Castle (Hadlyme CT) and stuck behind a slow driver. Being a 90 deg dayI had my top down when a turkey vulture took off from road side and hit my windsheild frame, somersaulted and hit the rollbar finally falling into the unoccupied passenger seat where it landed upside down thrashing around. Damn those birds are big! I pulled to side of road and the guy in car behind me helpped me get it out of the car. Vulture flew off and I had to change my underwear.

You sound lucky - you could have been in CT on that Harley.
