Hi, my name is Sara and I recently purchased a 2005 roadster limited, with manual transmission and a lot of problems. So far we have 3,200 into repairs and it is still at the dealership. New key can't lock or unlock doors. New tires still vibrate vigorously at 55 m/h among others. Very frustrated. Any suggestions or ideas would be most welcome. Dealer clueless. In fact, I directed him to this forum hoping he could find some answers. Thanks in advance. Sara in Florida

Just a quick thought on vibration. Are they the OEM style rims? Typically aftermarkets need a hub centric ring to center them up. If OEM this "usually" means there is a bent rim involved. "New key".. Old key works with locks?

I have my original CPS at 98000 miles, but I have a NEW one in the trunk.

Get a BOSCH CPS and carry it with you - they are hard to find in some areas and the china-made ones cause problems.

$10K? For one with those miles?
Yea, you did good.

She has her own thread called "new to forum", this looks like an accidental copy.

Great tip. I will try and pick one up. Any thoughts on where to get a good buy on the Bosch CPS?

Autohaus.com in Arizona or German Auto Supply in Huntersville, NC

You want an 0 261 210 170 which will cross to a Bosch #003 153 27 28 - and the number may have changed again, but that was the number in 2012.
