got information about this show via facebook yesterday. I know its short notice, but it might be cool.

7900 Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Sunday, November 18th from 12-5 pm.

It's that time again for all kinds of people that drive all kinds of vehicles to meet up and enjoy each other’s style of modifying their rides. The cold weather might be trying to t...
ake over the Mid Atlantic region early but please do not let that deter you from coming out to the “Mid Atlantic MEGA MEET” End of Season Charity Event at AiNet’s new data center (7900 Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie, MD 21061) on Sunday, November 18th from 12-5 pm.

"Cars, Trucks, Bikes, People, All Colors, All Styles...You bring the fun!"

looks like it might be bikes and higher end cars. might end up being ALOT of cars.

im kind of on the fence about this one. ive got to do some things to the cars saturday after the dyno event, and have some plans for sunday morning. let me know if anyone wants to go to this, i can juggle somethings and make it to this.

Dave.....your ravens play late, and against the Steeler's practice squad. think you can make two shows in one weekend? Chas....you roll out of bed, and you're at this show hahaha.

I tried like crazy to be able to keep it and a new ride, but it just wasn't a do-able budget thing right now, so I have moved on to a 2011 Benz C300 4-Matic.

Walking away from my Crossfire was heart wrenching as it has given me 4.5 years of excellent service and thousands of hours of enjoyment as well as the opportunity to meet all of you and spend time doing Crossfire things. This was not easy....but if all goes well, I would hope to ba back in another Crossfire at some point in the future. I am still an enthusiast and if there is anything I can still do to help out with the club, do not be afraid to ask.

I have only one complaint - I wish this damn site would keep forwarding any new messages that are added to our forum to my email so I don't have to keep signing back on to find out what is going on - everyone else in the world can send me emails on my smart phone to sell crap - it would have been nice to have the same on here. I missed a couple recent things because of it - just had too many things going on.

Have fun guys and gals...I'll try to stay in the lop when I can. It has truly been a pleasure!

David,
So sorry to hear that you had to let your car go, I'm getting to the point where I need to make the same decision myself, so I feel for you. You've been an asset to the Maryland crew and we'll miss having your presence.
As someone said above, you'll always be welcomed where ever we are.

Cheers bud.

David,
Ditto to what others have said... just imagine you're driving a 4 door crossfire and the 4-matic is a nice all weather car. How about some pics?

Great (long) day at JPC Dyno Day. They had a huge turnout that included three Crossfires (what happened to everyone else-excluding Jason). Dave B was looking forward to his SRT beating down the JPC Crossfire SRT6 Dyno Record (341.1hp in 2008) but came up a little short at 296 hp. Wyatt G. put his N/A on the JPC record books and put down a respectable 203 hp mark. Chas K. was the last Crossfire to be strapped down and left JPC with a decent 320 hp showing. The Crossfires did well and garnered the respect of every Mustang owner in attendance. They (Ford folks) were amazed at the car's design and performances. Next year let's (COM) show up in force and early.

i was on my way to the dyno on saturday, and my belt either broke or came off. i had the car towed to the chrysler dealer in laurel, but they will not even look at the car until today. i should have brought the car home and put the belt back on myself. but if im going to have the car towed somewhere, id like to take it to a place where they have a crossfire tech.

Ouch! That's not fun. Guess it was that kinda weekend. I went for my typical Sunday morning drive and parked my car to get some coffee and "no start", let it sit for about 20 mins, still nothing. This is now the 3rd time in about a month or so that's happened. I looked it up on the forum and see that it's apparently the RCM that is causing it.

So much for XF fun this weekend eh?

Chaz, those are some interesting number btw. Are they in line with what you expected to see?

yeah, well i think mine was my own fault. i was playing around friday night, getting a little squirly with the car, washed the engine that night. so im sure with a wet belt and the cold saturday morning, casused it to work its self a little lose.

the RCM issue doesnt seem to be that hard. its well documented. there is is guy on the forum that will look at your RCM and fix it for next to nothing....like $15-$20 something like that. since yours is a play/weekend car you might want to take the RCM out and ship it to him.

Just about what I expected considering with 230 miles 10/30/2008 it posted 341.1 hp and with 28K plus now 320.0 hp is acceptable.

Sorry to hear about your problems with them, hope it all works out, I would have told them about the warrenty after they had put on new pulley, maybe they don't know what a super charger sounds like on a six cylinder?
You will get through this don't let it spoil Turkey day with family, and friends.

its cool, im more upset that i didnt just bring the car to the house, put the belt on and then i could have made it down to hang out with you guys at JPC, instead it wasted my entire weekend. ill get the car tonight, i told them to just put the belt on and charge me for that. i'll take it to Tate chrysler in a few weeks and have them look at it. if they say it needs the pulley, ill let them do it, but i kinda figure they will say its fine.

JC you know better, if you want a true answer about your Fire take it to Tate and let Fred look at it. End of story. Stop shopping around and just take it to Tate. We know and trust this guy. In fact, give him a call and ask about pulley failures.

Dec. 9 Christmas Car Show, Breakfast & Auction Street Survivors American Legion Post 195 8am
2603 Virginia Ave, Halethorpe, MD 21227
This is open to all cars. Even if you dont want to take part in the show, come out enjoy some good food with friends before the snow gets here.

$10 for the show
$7 a person for the breakfast.

we have gone to this several times in a row. we usually take the Plymouth, and this is the last outing for a few months for the car. we can start making plans for 2013 as we have breakfast.

If we think we'll have enough of our board team members there to have a meeting, I may be able to make this gathering. Let me know who's in.

Also, Jason....did you get your belt / pulley issue worked out?
