Confused . . . the Caliber and the Solstice in the same class?
I would think the Caliber SRT4 would be in the same class as the Mazdaspeed3.

Or are you saying that Dodge could take the Caliber SRT4 engine and put it into the Demon - then that would be 'in the same class?'

I just got rid of a 1999 Mazda Miata to get my Crossfire, but one thing I always fantasized about (besides Jessica Alba, but that's for a different forum...ahem) was dropping the 2.4L Stage 1 equipped engine from my PT Cruiser Turbo into that little Miata. Very minor weight penalty but a jump from 140 HP/119 lb-ft to 240 HP/265 lb-ft. Yeee-haaawww!!!

You aren't suggesting that everybody else build the most god-awful boring lineup of cars they possibly can, are you? Such a pity to see the Supra and MR2 go, leaving nothing but Camrys and Solaris in their ever diminishing wake. I suppose if all you want your car to be is a mobile appliance, then Toyota is hard to beat. For anything else...hell, they can't even build a decent Formula 1 car after many years of trying.

You'll never find my in a Toyota dealership, that's for darn sure.
