You mean because I used Paypal and will probably get my money back. Both os us were most likely scammed. But, I will apologize publically and resend her the money if I get the door panel.

Am I the only one who thinks this apology is weak? Started out great but in the same paragraph it complains about the missing parts. Closes the first para with much smaller type, geeze a compliment? Second para missing something before the sentence that should have been there after a sincere apology IMHO. Sometimes people are busy, please remember Paypal allows for a long time frame to file any complaint to prevent exactly what happened here. Maybe everyone should learn something from this affair? And yes, I had to jump in with my $0.02 worth.

I wouldn't send a money order or cash to anyone.... it they can't ship it first. Either paypal or the part first, or don't buy it..... People who work don't always jump right on shipping things out...just human nature...but good communication is necessary... Randy is a stand up guy...and will pay... He just wanted to be kept in the loop. As for the other guy...you didn't get what you were suppose to recieve which was the brake light...he sent turn signals...so, he knew what he did, and I would pursue it...and he should be banned from this site.... Give his info to the police in his hometown...let them run a check on him to see if he is doing this on all car forums...so he can be shut down...I doubt your local police will do anything...good luck...but give us all the info on him...so we can have some fun too...what goes around comes around...two can play that game...

 

He he he, for the record, I certainly didn't email anyone. I did receive a PM from someone but thats another story. A drink is certainly in order, but only after 5pm (Its after 5pm somewhere isn't it)...

UPDATE 11-24-12 The guy that I had the trouble with over two months ago has reappeared. He has actually made good on the deal and refunded my money. He said there was a shipping mistake and that he would send me a replacement money order. He did exactly that. I cashed the money order today. Mods please un ban him if that is possible. I didn't expect a pleasant resolve to this but it did happen. Thanks to Balian for doing the right thing.

 

Not a good way to do buisness with members. Its not a magic trick so no one should dissappear...

This is the best post on this thread...just had to chuckle a few times. Just have to remember stacey, men have both chromosomes, so there is bound to be a bit of drama going on now and then...but let's hope we don't end up with a bunch of "Dramen"
