Ebay! They were a gift! My S.O. and I always joke about making things our own and he found these! Kinda a little inside joke. I have a running list of things that have been done to the car. I shall post that sometime. A very...long...list. Some performance mods then just general upkeep.
Disconnected the alarm which decided to randomly go off at inconvenient times. It was a 30 minute job at most according to the forum but in actually took 2 hours. The alarm was located in a different position than stated on the forum and I needed to buy a tool to get the cowling off. So several hour and one hangry wife late I’m done!
Thanks to a good friend and fellow Crossfire owner locally
I have had my crappy sooty dirty OEM brake pads replaced on all 4 corners with some clean new no/low dust Rotex Gold brake pads on my recently purchased 6 speed Roadster
No more brake dust and I'm beyond happy
These are the same brand pads I had put on my first Crossfire Coupe back in 2007 right after I bought it and discovered this forum.
Also thanks to my friend Jim in Michigan for making these brake pads available as they are no longer available anywhere anymore
Just got back from breakfast out with the Mrs and finished up a few errands. Saw at a local Walmart that Everstart Maxx batteries were marked down $30 from regular price. The particular store had several H6 versions for $85-$90. However, the dates on the batteries were somewhat old & Walmart is clearly trying to unload these. H6 versions with more current dates were not marked down. Anyone in need of a new battery may want to consider one of these marked down batteries at Walmart.
I believe you have a top of the line 2004 or a Limited, why would you be interested in sticking on a label that says it is the economy model and not really accurate at that?
It is the polar opposite to putting AMG labels on your car.
Those labels came from Latvia I think.
Just wondering what your thoughts are on this.

I've got a set of Andrew's emblems on my wheel center caps to cover up the faded OEM emblems. Easy to install and add a somewhat custom look to wheels. Top notch quality, too.
But I also have Karmann emblems on the Coupe from BestStickers.net and those raised emblems are also top notch quality.
Question??? Did Valk get another Crossfire, Maybe a 6 speed roadster. Just wondering. Lorne
Yes I sold my Coupe after 11 years and purchased an Aero Blue 6 speed Crossfire Roadster from a good friend of mine who I helped find it for right here 9 years ago when she bought it with only 6100 miles
It was time for her to sell it and I was the buyer 😎

I like the stickers the last owner put on it - not SE, but they ARE "Crossfire"...
Only two shown here, but he put them EVERYWHERE. I counted them once, I think I counted eleven of them.
