3.07 to 3.27 looks like the only difference. Now maybe I'm wrong here but wouldn't you not want taller gears? I mean for top end speed, yeah you would, but for getting power to the ground faster, wouldnt' our base/limited's gearing be better?

The taller gear should be better for the 1/4 mile.
The calculator I used to estimate 1/4 mile time came up with 13.14 with a perfect launch and no driver error.

i would love to get one around the 2,000 to 2,500 range. ebay has cashback right now at 8% and normally it is like 25%-30%. max is 200 per transaction, if you could list it up on ebay we will cover your fees and you will get paid the full amount but members will be able to get a discount. you could sell it in three parts so we can get 600 back in cashback. like the supercharger would be $1000, the piping would be $800 and the rest of the parts would be like $800 or so for a total of $2500. then members would get cashback from microsoft for $600. That would be awesome man i would be in even at $3000 as long as you can post it on ebay and we get cashback.

Earlier you said you should see around 300 ponies with this, that's 85 more then stock. Now you also said a reasonable price would be $35 a horse, that's $2975....

interesting question. my simple solution:
cost of components + markup.
the cost of the components should be a stable item.
markup: you have r/d cost associated. you are still in this stage, so final r/d cost is unavailable.
profit: how much do you want to make per unit sold? 10%, 20%, 200%?

i would suggest get all of the bugs worked out, complete your r/d and produce some performance numbers.

AND

i would suggest using this forum as a test market AFTER you finalize ALL cost.
keep the final cost low, [but make your reasonable profit].

THEN

look ahead for the MB crowd as an additional marketplace to sell to with an 'in production', and proven product.

I seriously hope you're talking new superchargers. I haven't personally priced them. I am soserious about this though that I have already bought a rebuilt Eaton M90. I paid 350$ for and shipping brought it to just under 380$ to the door. I am awaiting all the other "stuff" (mostly information) to go aheadwith this.

Damn if this ends up working out I will pick up a Gold Limited Roadser to go along with my Current SRT.

With the mish mash of parts what kind of warranty would be associated with the SC package?

Do you really thinking adding a supercharger to a limited will give you any warranty left?

Right now I'm working on getting the drive by wire to hold the throttle wide open during shifts. When I get this issue worked out I should have a price. If you have a warranty and want to keep it, this product is not for you.
