I don't think it would work seeing as how they are able to read 22 psi and not peak. The scale is probably too large for it to adapt. The ideal map sensor would hit max voltage at 9psi and still be around 1.7 volts at 22" vac. Anyone have any ideas... Maybe one off my wifes A4 1.8T would work it runs low boost. I'll have to check the voltage.

I just found this page
http://www.wellsmfgcorp.com/ds_map.html

I think I was on the right track by moving the vac line to the inlet side of the supercharger. Afterall the FMU is what is going to supply the extra fuel.

I just wanted to tell you guys that even though the car is running no where near its peak the amount of low end torque I'm getting is putting a huge on my face. This has definately been worth all the trouble and I'm quite confident the end result will be a great reward. My machinist has just informed me that the base of the production version can be milled mostly out of a phenolic material. I will be taking those long injector bungs out and building a custom injector rail , I found that 4" aluminum dryer ducting makes an excellent heat shield for your CAI and it only costs $10 bux at homeydepot. I should resume more testing tomorrow evening and will try to get a decent video on youtube.

I live a couple miles from Phenix Drag strip(i didn't misspell it). ''The fastest 1/8th mile in the world''.

Check this vid out. They don't let people stand on the track anymore. It was insane to let them in the first place.

wouldn't have been that bad of a day, there would be 2 less fox body mustangs on the road (provided no one was hurt).

dont get me wrong, if you want to go really fast really cheap a fox body mustang is for you. I work at a speed shop, so I see about 50 different fox bodies with weld wheels, mickey thompson radials, cowl hood the standard additions. They sure are quick, and if they break its no big deal. They are just so played out. There will come a day when I look back and remember them, when they are rare because everyone hacks them up, crashes them, then just gets new ones. I kind of care less about drag racing than I used to, because its alot of money to go fast for a couple seconds. PS the attached picture was the first thing that came up when I searched fox body on google. I just like the other one

No more codes thrown other than the EGR(its not connected). Pulls hard! I'm working 12 hour days right now but should be able to post a good video Sunday. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. The throttle is very sensitive now. If you have a Sprint Booster it probably won't work with this.

hehehe, pretty cool Chucky!

anychance your scanner can tell you roughly where the timing is at?, Say about WOT, Mid-throttle, and Idle?

let me know what the price is going to be. I'm about to buy a a condo and won't have anymore money left for toys after this large purchase, so I need to start saving up for the low boost kit.
keep us updated!

I went for WOT all the way to redline and ''KABOOM'' total engine failure! Just kidding, although I did max out the MAF @ approx. 5000rpm and hit fuel cut (scared me). Looks like I'll be installing a voltage clamp or something of the sort.

I'll be making an official statement soon with all the details of the kit sale. Right after I smoke some of those fox bodies. There are a couple that come by my house revving their engines.

I'll have to see if my reader can monitor the timing.
