I'll have to check the voltage.
Just do what the honda people do. Use one-way check valves to prevent boost from reaching the map sensor.

You don't need the MAP sensor to read boost. Just make it read atmospheric and let the FMU deliver the fuel.

I tried that but the car was very jerky transitioning from vacuum to boost(the check valve is not fast enough?). I am now using a check valve on a t to bleed the pressure off and it works better but not perfect. I read that a valve called the missing link is supposed to work well and get rid of any sputtering at low rpms. So I will try that and I'm going to use a SAFC to handle the maf and tuning. Anyone have a SAFC lying around they want to get rid of? I ended up having to go out of town this morning and didn't get back till after three. I'm so behind at work I feel bad about taking tomorrow off. Oh well. I know you guys want to see the vid I'll try to get it uploaded ASAP.

Chuck,

If you need any ECU tuning to make things a little easier let me know and I'll arrange it for you.

If you think the maf and map problems can be tuned out with the ecu by all means send me a PM.

The missing link is the name given to a check valve that is designed specifically to bolt directly onto the Honda MAP sensor. I believe it is just a plain ol' check valve.

I think you need to use more than one check valve to perform what is called "boost fooling". I've seen Hondas set up with 3 check valves as opposed to one. Not sure why, but I think it's due to the fact that cheaper check valves leak.

I was thinking it is a check valve too but can't find solid info. For $60 it should be more than just a check valve. I'm going to put together a ball and spring version today and see if it works better.

I'd love to post the video but unfortunately I have lost the software to my JVC camcorder. I found the drivers I needed but without the Imagemixer 1.7 software my camera is useless. Anyone have this please pm me. I've been searching for it for about three str8 hours now and am giving up. JVC has the worst product support ever. Only about ten percent of their products are backed up online. By the way I tried wide open throttle today again after running an entire tank of gas through the car and didn't hit fuel cut.

I tried that before. Hit the download button yourself. It says there is nothing to download. I tried every version on that site.

Trust me I want to load the video. I have even thought about using my work camera but its almost as bad as my cell phone. When I say I have searched for the program i mean I have scoured different search engines only to find a lot of other post like mine about losing the disc. I thought I found it on a site in Thailand but the page had been removed. I'll try downloading some other programs tonight and see if any work. Windows Movie Maker finds the camera but locks up under initialization.

I got there - select "Click here to upgrade" in the green box

Then on the next screen select "Imagemixer DVD upgrade" in the long box

It will open a new website (Pixela) - select "Buy Now" option for software version, the camera and operating system you own.

Only $39.95

The upgrade requires that you have the base software currently installed from what I read. I'm going to China mart and see what crap they have.

China mart had exactly what I thought. Nothing I needed. They did have a chokehold on the American economy though. Looks like I'll have to take an extended break tomorrow and visit a real software store.

Problem may be taken care of. Will update soon.
Oh yeah, hit fuel cut again. Wideband 02 and SAFC will be installed soon.
