HP Cam shaft specs found
I was on a more obscure MB forum that is mostly guys hot rodding their MB cars and found this link posted by a guy that is regrinding his cams to the Schrick specs since they no longer make cams for his engine which I believe is the case for the 112 V6 that we all enjoy. All Schrick cam specs are in the attached PDF:

It’s curious that they ground but one profile for our M112s.
Leads one to believe that they've been optimized for either the normally aspirated or forced induction applications; not both.
Supercharged-specific cam timing specifications are typically quite different from NA figures on bumpsticks from domestic cam suppliers.
Any firsthand experiences or results you’re willing to share regarding their fitment on suitably modified SRT6/C32s?

it would be interesting for someone to do a piston-valve clearance test to see just how big one could regrind the stock cams.
i would hope atleast 12mm of lift, somewhere around 270* duration

I'll bet that Elgin Cams could grind some cams for a whole lot less than Scrick can. check their web site. they mention mercedes.

I just got off the phone with Demitre (Dema) Elgin. He has been in business forever and was a drag racer in the 50's and '60's. I knew him back in my drag racing days in the '70's. A pair of cams for our cars will $300-$400 which is just a bit leass than Schrick!
He also mentioned he works with Schrick and cen get their specs as well. While he produces cams for MB's he hasn't done any for the 112 and 113 MB engines. He said he would need cams and a few bit of the valve train roller rocker and hydraulic shim pad) to design some cams. but he is VERY interested in working with us. He is located in Northern CA. If I don't sell my V6 soon I may be able to send him what he needs or if someone else here can send the parts that would be great as well as I would like to sell my V6 as soon as the V8 starts which could be today.

Way ahead of you guys. We have cams there now that are being ground to new specs. Mr. Elgin is going on vaca in 2 weeks, so not sure if they'll be done by them.
With the schrick cams you also get valve springs, which will be necessary with an upgraded cam. You can upgrade to the V8 springs for about 550. So you may be looking at about 1200.00 for cams, springs, and retainers, not including installation.

I'm not in the market for cams right now, but perhaps in the not so distant future. If they're ground for a SRT, that is. I don't know if it's worth the bother to put cams developed for N/A in anything other than N/A.
