Default Ignition switch problem "pin"

It started like everyone mentions it here. Starts just wiggling the key a couple of times and now it doesn't turn at all!
Good thing it happen in my house right?

My Question is how do u get rid of the PIN. Yesterday for about 4 hours i tried to drill in the pin with a 1/4" drill bit and i cannot get through it.I dismantle the bottom paNeL. I cannot get to position 1 like the PDF instructions said.I cannot turn the key so it gives me instructions on how i need to drill the pin so i can trun the key and go back to step 11. Im stuck!! Its all over the site on how u can do it yourself its called sticky fix easy i believe or something like that. I a m stuck on this part and its very frustrating.
ANY suggestions will be really appreciated

IF ANYONE IS IN LOS ANGELES CA that can fix it . Im willing to pay
I CANNOT TAKE IT TO THE DEALER OR TO ANY SHOP IT WONT START
Mechanics are trying to charge me and arm and a leg to come to my house !
PLEASE ANYONE HELP!!!

Have you tried turning the steering wheel to one side or the other while turning the key?

This is a super-simple but time consuming fix. You should have no problems and be done in an hour or so.

Unlesss........................................... ....... The thing freezes up and you have to drill the pin out. NO ONE has fun with this and EVERYONE curses, screams, sweats and suffers at this point.

I was lucky, mine froze up at a gas pump. It was a $100 tow home and, later in the week, when I went to take it apart, it had freed up! Did I ignore it and go on?

NO!

I took it apart and fixed it anyway. Like I said, I was lucky and it was EASY 'cause it was free to move, I just pushed the pin in as I yanked the assembly out!

Sorry it got you - this is a warning FEW will listen to: If yours is not stuck, FIX IT TODAY and DO NOT WAIT for the hell that awaits you!

I used a ball point pen! But again, mine was not frozen.

Some guys have braced it with a screwdriver so it would not move, then they used a dremel tool (see Other Thread).

Ok you guys thanks for all the Help! But now i have another problem !
The car wont start!

I was finally able to take of the pin , well more like grinding it with a dremel tool until it was even then took it off.
I follow the instruction and i got the ignition switch to Switch! lol
I put it all back to order
before i put all the screws back on i tried turning out the car.
And now it doesn't turn on all!
they ignition switch is fix but its not even cranking the engine at all .
all the lights on the dash board come on and the alarm works
But the car doesn't make a sound when i try to turn it on!
and yes i put all the cables back together , triple checked it
plus if i was missing one the switch wouldnt work right?

i was searching and i found out that it might be this : attached -------------> How to Repair Relay Control Module (RCM) - (Mystery no Start)

but does this cause after fixing the ignition switch
is it a common issue
or was it my luck that it happen at the same time

PLEASE HELP!
