Default ESP pressure sensor 1

Hi all

Have the dreaded esp/bas light on, intermittently, have had the codes read with the result C1141 pressure sensor current - 008 + zero point and offset of stored component B34/1 (ESP pressure sensor 1)
anybody out there any idea? have renewed brake pedal switch. Car runs ok when light is on, seems less likely to illuminate when started with foot on the brake pedal.

would help if I knew where esp pressure switch 1 is located

never posted before hope this is correct etiquette

Thanks

Intermittent could mean a bad electrical contact, pull connectors apart and see if they are clean.
There are two pressure sensors on the master cylinder. Look at them.
Look at the Service Manual (click). Down load it for future reference.

Thanks for the info.

printed off relevant pages of workshop manual found out esp pressure switch 1 is mounted on the master cylinder. cleaned connections etc, still the same. purchased second hand slk master cylinder with sensors, replaced sensor, bled brakes- no esp light so far! cost £25 and some brake fluid.

Thanks for your help
