Unhappy Alarm keeps going off...

When I lock my car, my alarm goes off for no reason. I've read the other forums related to this issue, and they all seemed to say 1) Replace the key fob batteries. 2) Replace the car battery. 3) Replace the siren.
Well $400 later, I've done all 3 of these. And of course the alarm still goes off by itself! I normally can't turn off the alarm until trying for about 10-15 seconds, then it'll turn off. With new key fob batteries, both keys start/unlock/lock/panic the car properly. With a new car battery and siren, I just don't know what else to do. I don't have the time or desire to hang out at my dealership. Any ideas will help, thanks!

Upon further reading, I feel I should add that there has recently been some water under the trunk on the PS. Under the carpet where the jack is, but on the PS. Could this possibly be related? Are there electronics near this?

YES !!! That is where the locking and security pump module is located.
It is under the floor covered in foam.

Well I used a turkey baster in a hole beneath the jack and removed a surprising amount of water. I'm too scared to break the clips that hold all the panels together back there to actually removed the foam stuff. I had my alarm set all day yesterday and it hasn't gone off since.
I know this is probably a temporary fix. Does anybody know WHY I could have water in that area? I don't understand how that's even possible.

ok, here'so what I did to fix the problem:
Pulled all of the rear panels and foam out. Exposing everything including the rear passenger wheel well modules. Yes, take the insulation around modules out, too. They need to be exposed. Wait for many Sunny, Dry days in a row. When you've parked your car, be sure to manually raise the spoiler and Crack your windows about 1". Do this for a week...or for at least 7 sunny, dry days. PROBLEM SOLVED.
ALSO, NEVER RAISE SPOILER WHEN GOING THROUGH CAR WASH (touch less of course) NOR IF YOU ARE HAND WASHING AND RINSING WITH HOSE. When the spoiler is UP, water cones streaming into the wheel wells.
The aforementioned solved my issue. Good luck, let me know.

It might be tough to sell your car on this forum now that you have admitted to a trunk that leaks like a sieve. The solution to your problem is posted on this forum. The leak should not happen when the spoiler is up or down.

HOW DARE YOU POST SUCH AN INSULTING STATEMENT, onehundred80.
I have owned my 04 for over 13 years. NEVER had an issue until I went through this particular car wash
This forum is to suggest, help and relate to common issues
How about the notion (that I received from a decent, respectful forum member) that I may not have shut my hatch all the way as we are told from day #1 of ownership; NEVER EVER SLAM YOUR DOORS, HOOD OR HATCH BACK.
She suggested I just may have been a little too gentle that day AND she had the same issue with water and the alarm . MY RESOLUTION WORKED FOR HER ALSO.
Telling me on the World Wide Web that my car trunk "leaks like a sieve...it won't sell here...." is a disgusting reply.
I am filing a formal complaint against you.
please be more helpful v.s. insulting.

Insult? Read the definition of the word.
File a complaint? Good luck on that one.
Get a life and get your leak fixed.

If we had an "inquiry board" and hearings.. there would be nothing but newbies here..

PS.. wash my coupe all the time with the spoiler up at the car wash.. should I hear sloshing by now?

Don't be so sensitive, trust me, if he ( 180 ) was hurling insults you would definitely know it. He was just making an observation.

I have never heard such rubbish, I guess he is warning people to not go out in the rain and go over 60mph as the spoiler will raise and fill the trunk with water. Must really fill up at speed like a fire fighting water bomber filling the tank from a lake.
Second post and he is ready to take me to see Judge Judy, pathetic. Some people get offended at anything.
Now he thinks he did not shut the hatch, after saying it was a car wash and another time putting a hose on the car.
Get the leak fixed.
