Has anyone on here ever tried to have a remote start installed on their Crossfire? I bought my Crossfire in late September and I have been trying to get a remote start installed ever since. One guy tried and failed miserably. He broke both of my keys and caused a thousand dollars in electrical damage (thank god for a warranty). The last guy tried to install it and actually has the remote start working but it automatically unlocks my doors if I use it. I think that is absolutely worthless. If you have any information on this I would appreciate it.

 

I don't think Mercedes engines are compatible with remote start. Try checking the Mercedes forum for info 'cause I think that's where I read that. I've been wanting to put a viper alarm on my Crossfire but after what happened to Bobba's car I changed my mind and live with what I have.
