Malfunction indicator light problems
This light appears from time to time on my dashboard (04 fixed head) but has no detrimental affect on the car's performance. I can go for many miles without it lighting up and to me seems to simply be a loose connection somewhere. Any ideas?

Why sit around and guess? All ANYONE can do is guess.
Get a code reader ($60 or so) or stop by Autozone and read the code(s) that are setting the light off. Post them here and you will get all sorts of help.
