Default Bolt specs for Engine Lower Shield 05096759AA

Hi guys. I'm a new owner and my car (2005 Limited Roadster) is missing the lower shield (part # 05096759AA). I ordered it for $175 but the mounting bolts/screws are NLA from Mopar. Does anyone know the size of these? Do they require washers also or are they a flare head? Hopefully someone can tell me the proper size so I can pop over to the hardware store and mount this thing.

Also my driver-side "vanilla" sun visor is splitting along the seam. Does anyone know how to repair this or have a good one for sale?

Thanks gents, Matt

If you actually went out and bought that damn plastic panel, you wasted a lot of money. My SE does not have one, and I threw the one that was on the Graphite away - useless item.

The original screws are essentially metal screws with captive wachers, there are tinnerman nuts in the screw holes to receive them.

WD 40. I also just bought an engine splash shield for mine. $173 plus shipping. I wouldn't want to drive mine without it as I feel it does a good job at keeping the engine compartment clean. It was put there to help limit aerodynamic drag while cruising the autobahn. The screws are metric sheet metal about a number six and 5/8" long. I'll check in the morning for the proper size.
Mark, I know the roads are pretty wide open there in Texas. Try it, you might like it, but do it without a bra and with the top down.

A # 10, 3/4" sheet metal screw with a large washer will work. The OEM is 20mm long and I think a 4mm diameter with a hex head. Picture attached:

That looks like a 25mm diameter washer so 1". Thank you so much for your help. The picture is icing on the cake. You are all around a decent human being.

Many times I have had a shop change my oil during the week when I was away from home to save some time at home.
2 or 3 times the shop said my XFire was done and I looked on the shop floor and the belly pan was still there.

And they kept losing the bolts,
I ended up just using #10 pan head screws with flat washers, I believe that was the size, never lost one and fits good and a Phillips screw driver to take off.

It's too late now for WD40, but the Mercedes number for the engine splash shield is A0019906036. That is the exact screw with the large washer attached.

Wow. The best price I could find for the actual Mercedes part was $3.07 EACH! Most places much more. The original suggestion worked just fine though. I also found the items below pissing around on Amazon. I guess it's all a question of "How close do you want to come to original?"
Amazon Amazon
$8.77 for 30
Amazon Amazon
$7.89 for 10
Amazon Amazon
$17.99 for 20
That one ($17.99 looks the most promising. It's the one I'd buy.) Just to prove the internet is a dangerous place look at the part below claiming to be genuine but looking nothing like the Mercedes part!!!
