No Crank, No Start - Tried RCM with no luck
This is my first post so I apologize if i did something wrong. I purchased my crossfire in late May 2019, about 2 months ago. It has ran fine except for a CPS replacement a few weeks ago. This morning i go to start my car and the engine will not turnover at all; but radio, lights, windows, etc. work. Did research and thought it would be my RCM so I resoldered the points and still no luck. Ruled out SKREEM because my key fob works with locking the car. Also took the battery to Oreillys to get it tested, they said it was fine but needed charging. So i left it there to charge, picked it up and reinstalled it in the car with no luck. Any other ideas?

Wrong. The SKREEM can be bad, the door locks may still work. The SKREEM has two 'halves', the "door locking" half and the "start or no start" half.
A bad SKREEM will cause the engine to crank over and "kinda start", then die. It will do this twice. Third try, you get nothing.
Why would it need charging? If you drive the car, the battery is charged by the alternator. If you let the car sit for WEEKS, it will run down, mine sits three weeks at a time, starts fine.
My idea/question is the same as George's above. If your answer is 'yes', we know it's 99% likely the RCM.
If your answer is 'no' we have more diagnostics to do.

Open the RCM. Turn the key to the ON position.
2 of the 3 middle relays should stay engaged (the 3rd will engage for 2 seconds then disengage).
If only 1 engages, you have a bad relay.
Email me at tighed1@hotmail.com for refurbishing details.

Both of the relays turn on (from left to right #3 and #4), but i dont see a third one moving.
Edit: i think i see what youre talking about, yeah only one stays engaged until the ignition is turned off and the 3rd one does disengage after 2 seconds. But #2 relay does not engage at all.

Mine does exactly that. Was driving down my block and it just died. everything turns on but it won't crank...nothing, then the fan starts blasting. Do you know what it might be? Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the response. I repaired/resoldered my RCM about a month ago and have had no issues up to this point. But it is exactly as described in this video.
yes, I believe I've located the problem as a bad contact on a relay. It was probably due to the original soldering issue but you can see blackening on it. I'm going to try and clean it up and give it another shot otherwise I'll need to replace it. I'll check back in with the results. Thank you everyone!
The only relay contact I've ever seen burnt has been the air pump relay (relay on very end of the circuit board).
All other relays that have gone bad were due to the relay coils going bad.

Nothing has worked...still the same issue. No Crank/No Start, Electric seats stopped working and the spoiler went up on it's own. Found a bad relay, fixed it but no dice. It looks like you may be getting another RCM TJ. Probably should have sent it directly to you. Please let me know any and all details necessary to send it to you. Thank in advance.
GOT IT! FINALLY! It was a combination of a few things related to the RCM - many bad solder points (much more than i originally found - used a microscope this time) and 2 Relays were bad. Thank you all for your input and assistance. Thank you TJ for being there just in case. If anyone else needs help regarding this issue i'll try and assist you as best i can, but i'm sure there are more experienced people on here than I
Thanks again!
