I wonder if we are barking up the wrong tree on this SKREEM thing. Obviously FCA Chrysler has abandoned us. I think we should be looking offshore for an immobilizer fix for the SCREEM. We should find a way to deleted the SKREEM from the startup sequence.

I have bought electronic parts from AutoRock that are Asian made. With 76,000 crossfires manufactured, surely some Asian supplier would have a look at producing a SKREEM bypass.

I am good at irradiating the establishment. Any ideas on how to start this process?

I sent mine to precision ecu. It runs great again now i don't have to worry about my SKREEM.

Has anyone else tried the Precision ECU fix? Do they really have a fix that totally eliminates the need/use of the SKREEM?

I have seen a couple of folks on facebook that confirm for $400 with Precision ECU you can delete the skreem. Your remote lock/unlock will no longer function though

See post 20 in this thread. Is Germany "offshore" enough for you?

I am wondering, if the door key without the fob will also start the car?
I am also wondering if no SKREEM will also effect the state emissions test?

It is like going back to the 50s where the only security was the door/ignition key.

However, it is another option. The more XFs we can keep on the road the better for all of us.

Yes, it will. That is the entire idea.

What about the chip in the fob?
It will open the door though.

The SKREEM delete means that the chip in the FOB is no longer required for the ECU to allow the engine to start and run.

Thank you for bringing my work back in the mind of the community. The central locking system is really not so easy but I'm a little step further. I have build a testrig on my workbench and with the crossfire components the locking system works there. Now it is more comfortable for me to see how I can control it by my Skreemulator. I have a idea where I can "crack" the system but it needs more time I think...

I just read on the crossfire facebook group that Precision ECU has resolved the lock/unlock issue with the fob.

The group was the Chrysler Crossfire Owners USA - facebook
The fob comment was how Precision ECU bypassed the SKREEM on startup but how you can still use the remote fob to lock and unlock the doors.

So we can only see this info if we join that FB group, but they can see all the work that has been done on this open forum?
I know many of these forums have copied all the info from this forum without giving credit to the author.
