Remote Entry no longer works
Just recently, my remote entry quit working. I tested the batteries in the remote. They were good. I still replaced them and nothing. This is what does work. Inserting the key in the door lock, the key does lock and unlock the car including the trunk. Is there any checks I can do to verify what is broken? I don't want to yank the SKREEM yet until I have a better idea of the issue. I would rather just send a key to get it duplicated.
That can be caused by water in the trunk area, under the floor, affecting the vacuum pump. Do you park outdoors? Is it a coupe or a roadster? It can happen to either, but is more common with roadsters. I would also check the fuses.
Fuse 9 is good as SKREEM shares the same power as the overhead light and that works. I do park outside and it's a roadster. I have problems with water in the trunk in the past but that has been mostly resolved. It has not rained in a while in SC. But I will pull the liner so I can verify that the trunk is dry and check on the top pump.
KEYLESS ENTRY TRANSMITTER
DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING
Note: If the transmitter unlock button has been pressed repeatedly while out of range of the receiver, synchronization
may have to be restored. To do so, perform the Transmitter Programming procedure in this
section.

It's probably not the CLP since your locks are working with the key - i.e., the vacuum pump is working and getting a signal from the BCM (?) telling it to unlock the other door and truck (drivers side is manually unlocked using the key).
