Battery drain
Hi all. I could use some help on a battery drain. It had me stifled, so I took it to a shop that is excellent on electrical. He said I have a 1/2 amp draw on the antitheft system modules. He tried to find modules, but none are available.
Have any of you found a fix for this problem. If it is antitheft components, who has any, or is there a work around?
thanks

Generally, it comes down to the alarm under the wiper cowl. The batteries in the alarm leak causing damage to the circuit board. This will but a small drain on the electrical system of the car. If that is your issue, you can just disconnect the alarm. Finding new one is almost impossible. If you find one, make sure it is not an old one just never used. Aging is the issue. More info will follow.
