Does anyone know if this part from MB would replace the lower instrument panel on the Crossfire, the plastic is falling apart close to the ignition lock:

Lower Cover - Mercedes-Benz (170-680-15-87-7211)

The correct part number will be moulded into your part, check and see.
I checked the part number you give, the 7211 is not part of the Mercedes number, checking without that number you get a similar looking part.

How do you remove the air vent nozzle? Does it pull off?

as still there are some hard areas where we can hurt, i decided to do something. traced templates of those areas and cut them from a rubber mat and glued them with lepages contact cement.
the mat i found at walmart is this: https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/hometre.../6000196605405. i know it is really memory foam because the knives loose sharpness in a moment, but the results are rewarding. the largest runs all along the area where the bolster was located; another is a half moon at the left edge of the console, where my right knee rests; another at the area behind the **** that adjusts the mirrors, and another covering the lid of the storage compartment. these 2 cushion my elbow when i rest it.
now i can move freely without the worry of geting more pain!
