Argggggh !!! - lot's of 'drill out this rivet stuff'.
HOWEVER !!! This applies only to the fabric, it does NOT detail the complete assembly removal.

My '05 back window has now broken free in Columbia, SC. You would think that some massive recall would fix this issue, but the problem is they don't even want to try to take this on. I'm going to be trying the 3M Window Weld based on everyone else's experience. We have spent enough money on these cars to be screwed over like this!
If you are in South Carolina they are covered under warranty - do a search under:

Good luck

As to the warranty, it is "where the car was originally sold", NOT where you live.
My 2008 Crossfire had the rear window fall out. Cleveland area is clearly not a southern or hot area here except about 4 months in summer. I will report to Chrysler and government as others have done. I do see that many have had success with the 3M window weld product and I will investigate that. I plan to see if a shop here might help me. Appreciate any updates. It's November 2022 now. Joe
The 3M stuff works IF, and only IF, you have a lot of patience and really take your time (or can find a shop that will take their time, but you will pay for their time). New tops thru BAS are around $725 delivered anywhere in the USA. Installation is available from several owners: Robert in Missouri, Zach in Georgia, Rick in Pennsylvania, and Brian in FLorida.
I glued mine four times, finally had enough - and got my new top installed by Robert and Zach at the Ozark meet in 2020 - they did it all in an hour before breakfast one morning.

If It hasn't completely separated , stuff some towels on the inside to keep it in place while you decide what to do . Here are a few videos

It was a lot of work, and it takes a lot of time, but he says it DOES work. I found that replacing the top put the whole thing behind me, totally worth the money paid.
Your car is almost 15 years old. It is not unreasonable for a part to fail after 15 years. Chrysler won't car, and the US government certainly won't care.
