Default Gas door

My gas door cable is stretched out so the pin lock won't retract when the door is open. Easiest fix without replacing cable which I understand requires the removal of a few panels in the trunk section. All replies greatly appreciated.

It's not a cable, it is an air operated solenoid.
You are gonna have to remove those panels and find the fractured yellow air line(s).
They can be repaired by cutting out the bad place, then joining the 2 cut hose ends with a tightly fitting hose of slightly larger diameter.

Concerning the gas door, One of my Xfires has what I call a "sloppy door". The latch works, but when released, it wiggles and is sloppy not firm..no jokes please...How do you access the screws I guess, to tighten the gas door? Thanks in advance.
