If I remember correctly the amp only puts out 22W RMS, so 180W speakers (probably peak, so 90W) would require more power to remain constant. Not that its a huge deal (Im currently underpowering subs) but you may want to find something with less peak/RMS. Im picky with speakers and usually stick with Kicker, but you should check out Kenwood or MTX as well. Try to find a speaker to match the current amps output. Or buy componet speakers with amps all ready to go. Hopefully this helps.
haha i have no idea what to look for. i just want speakers i can fit right in and play. i am not smart on this stuff so i need help finding a set. i went to best buy and no help. i would like better quality if i can without modifying anything.
Pull them or one out and go on ebay or amazon to check the size of the mounting. Having it in your hand is real handy when checking the connections to the leads and size / spacing of the holes. If I ever get to mine Iam adding the caps to cut the danm base, too too much. Woody
I had one go bad and this is what I put in:

Much louder (crude way of putting it!) for a given "volume" setting than the OEM things. And much better sounding. Try it-you'll like it!

dude the Alpine 6.5 r series speakers sound great and at techronics .com they have the best price.6 1/2 r series only dont buy e or s series for the money Alpine r at 70 or so dollars its the best for the money unless you want Focal.at techronics they have the 6 1/2 component system which handles 110 watts rms and if you ever upgrade the amp itll handle sounds great and gives you a crossover and you can mount the tweeters on the pillars.they charge 138 or so everyone else wants alot more its brand new factory sealed with a warranty.i bout alpines 8 years ago and they still play in my buddies car.good luck
Exactly how hard is it to swap out these speakers? Do you need to remove the door panel? How easy is it to pop off the speaker trim ring? That would ultimately be the deciding factor to replace, if my speakers are not blown.
Replaced my blown OEMs with the 6030cs Infinity. Also plug and play (2 ohms). Fantastic sound.....

There is a sticky for the door panel removal. It will get you there...
