I just looked at the web site for "Full On Speed". I get the feeling they are "Full Of S**t". No address on the site alot of spelling mistakes, and a "how it came to be" section that sounds like an infomercial.

Maverick, I love the idea of extra horsepower as much as the next guy, but be very cautious. If this guy is not willing to give you his home address or at least the actual place of business that you can trace back to him, I would save my money.

I can't help feeling like something stinks when I read that site. I wish you the best and hope for your sake and the sake of others that I am wrong about that FOS site. Anybody can put some text and some pictures on the internet these days and call themselves legit. Doesn't mean that they are, but it won't stop them from cashing your check either.

I sell some VTEC stickers for your car that will give you 8,000hp if you guys are interested, it is 1/2 the cost of the ebay electric supercharger aka marine bilge pump.

I couldn't agree more. The real reason no one has a boosted non SRT 6 crossfire is the tuning. Lack of fuel = predetonation= bye bye motor. Otherwise I would bolt on the eaton blower sitting in my garage.

Well, Maverick, just got home, and I see the conversation is still on. I once had a Camaro 350, but I wish it was a Z28, so I spent money on it, added this added that, made it perform very well, but my buddies' Z28 still kicked my #$%! So the point is this, how much would it take to trade up an SRT6 if you like the Crossfire. I learned my lesson a long time ago. I saw another member had to sell his Xfire to put his wife through med school, and I had to sell my '03 Z06 museum delivered car to put 3 boys through college, and I know there are members out there that know what I am talking about. I did some research, I own Chrysler products anyway, and with the help of a German born Chrysler dealer, we purchased an off-lease SRT 6 for 24K. A finance mgr leased it, took grt care of it. I tell you, I have had Z28's and the Z06, this SRT will stay with them on the straightaway. O6 would take it on the track, but not by much...just my .02 .....Doc

I've been lurking here for what seems like a seriously long time!

This forum has the most intelligent, grown-up people I've yet to see (On a car forum)

*And yes, I'm still looking for my Crossfire (NB Canada isn't exactly full of them)

Anyways... Guys, I'm a double business/communications major, and we talk about the ethics, and morality of this situation all the time...

We talk about how Apple and Microsoft actually hire independent bloggers, to promote their products, and sell their products online...
We've had a few presentations by some of these guys, and apparently its one of the most demanded 'work from home' jobs out there...

The internet is a source of new media, and these guys are taking advantage of it..

Go creep around Civic forums, RX-8 forums (god forbid), 350Z forums... Search electric superchargers...
You'll see a guy just like our friend Jeff, promoting a product without putting his name behind it (because it would ultimately be illegal)
And the product themselves, they do absolutely nothing... If you guys want to throw away money, I'll write my mailing address! (again, check around on other car forums)

I don't typically post here... But when I see people trying to take advantage of an audience who might not be internet savvy... It just ticks me off...

And Jeff, I want to appologize before I even clikc 'Submit Reply' in the case that your a consumer...
But at the same time, I want to tell you to save your money, and either go forced induction, or get an SRT-6...
And yeah, it costs a lot...
But you've got to pay to play..

One final thought...
I remember my father telling me stories of the early 70's, when they switched from black and white to colour TV's....
And you could buy a cheap kit to 'colour your television'...
hundreds of thousonds of people bought it..
What did they receive?
..
Paint and a small paint brush...

If it seems to good to be true...
Lock the thread...

I love Crossfires

-Andrew

You know if this thing works, and I would like some proof, it could be a real boost to us "regular" crossfire owners. Some one has to put there neck on the chopping block along with a pile of bills. If it works, and they can back it up, I'll bet there will be a line clear around the block, if it doesn't then at least mavrick had the guts to try, congrats

It doesn't stop there either, the 40% is for full-time driving, for Drag Racing you can get even more! In fact there are add-ons that will safely give your full-time driving more HP! I should be getting it in about 3 weeks. I will post the results the first night that I test it out. I apologize for sounding like a "Snake-Oil Salesman", but after trying literally everything on the Web, to no avail! I finally came across this site, and I called them up (obviously, very skeptical) but after several conversations with the engineer I am so optimistic that I am about to burst! Finally a HP increase that is reletively inexpensive, and safe for your car.

If this works as I beleve it will, we will no longer be getting stomped on by a souped-up Camry. With setting the Supercharger at a moderate setting will now give us 301 HP ... that isn't too shabby for just a start! For a couple hundred bucks more you can safely add another 60 HP. I can't wait to pull up next to an SRT6! I admit that my excitement is premature, but we will see. Like I said, I will Post it as soon as I have the proof. I will also give you all the info for getting one for yourself. I am not giving anyone free advertising, or mislead anyone until I have the proof.

P.S. I have belonged to this site for sometime, but I forgot my username, so instead of fooling around I just registered in my dog's name ... if I forget that, you shouldn't believe a word I say. lol Jeff Phelps
here's what i think. and i don't pretend to be nice, because i'm not nice, and i don't give a **** if anyone thinks i'm an a**hole.

i think that someone in your family needs to step up and take you in for a mental evaluation. you clearly cannot be trusted with money, even if it's YOUR money.

don't you think that if this was a viable performance product that the fart-can muffler ricers would have been all over it already?

06 z06 your talking?? stock for stock, the z06 would be out of the srt6's sight within the first mile of the track, straight or through the turns. The c6 z06 0-60 in 3.7, 1/4 in 11.7, and pulls upwards of 1.2 g's through the corners. srt6 is what 0-60 in 4.8, 1/4 in 12.8 and 1 g in the corners on a good day. Love both cars, but the z06 is ALOT more of a car than an srt. PS, museum delivery is a great experience!

street and track are two different worlds my friend...I just chased my old Z down the road with the new owner at the wheel. We have both done some track time, and he isn't a rookie by no means. He was ragging me about my purchase last year thinking I would purchase a stock vet having been a bow tie head my whole life except for my green slip Chyslers I own and dept Chysler I drive. When he saw the little roadster, well the race was on...while he was spinnin' I was a movin', when he realized this wasn't a miata, well it was catch up time. You are rt with the right driver, rt track, but not in the real world where we drive everyday. $ for $ the SRT6 is steal for the stock speed, my Z was 65K of race car, my SRT is 24K of fun....Thanks, Doc

and I might add I can enjoy driving my SRT everyday if I like, my '03 Z06 had 5K on it when I took out of STORAGE to sell it to my dentist friend...this is a lot more fun and a lot less expensive, fuel, ins, plates etc...never thought I would own a Chysler sports car, or even a Benz, just wasn't the red neck me...but I do... and 1 other thing, my old vet buddies are now buying Soltices, turbos and customizing them, 1 has a Vue and they can't believe I own a Chrysler...but I am loving it...love this forum, because I was alone until now....Doc

SRT is definately a great car for a great price, but Im talking c6 z06, i know the c5 is pretty close to the srt. I can launch the c6 with no wheelspin on a warm day. real world, everyday driving the srt is definately more practical, I wouldnt drive the vette every day if it was mine.

There is always a lot of talk about this wont work and that wont work... should have boughtan and SRT etc..... I would have bought one if it was a manual trans. Sorry but I like the manual trans and the SRT was not made with one. I am also looking at adding a supercharger (belt drive type) Lot of work needed but I want the extra HP.
Jeff post your results and we will see what happens.
Boost is boost does it really matter how you get it? I have been told that the M112 can take about 6 psi with no ECU changes needed.

https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ad.php?t=22544

More HP is somthing we all want so why should it be only the SRT cars that can get it?

if this turns out to be one of those "snake oil" things its not your money. But sorry Jeff if you want to shut this group up you will have to put on a dyno and show the proof. Sorry I dont know you from Adam so trust....... dont think so. Prove the performace.

If I ever get mine done I will show the dyno slips to all. The cost to do it is climbing and when it gets the the cost of that vette....... might just have to buy one.

Guys,

I need a diagram of the left rear wheeel stabilzing arm, and the rods connected from subframe to wheel. I slid on some ice...sideways into a curb. the insurance company won't buy the whole assembly, so I have to measure each arm and the support bar. Can anyone help me out? Jeff

p.s. no news yet on the supercharger.

Thumbs up Re: Power for the Crossfire

I have never posted, yet have enjoyed reading the various comments for sometime. I own a '05 blue ragtop 6speed limited roadster, and I think it's perfect as the factory made it. The crossfire has a unique and interesting pedigree that should be appreciated for what it is. These cars are special in that alone. I live in Fresno, California and enjoy the fact that I drive the only car like this one in the area. I have noted 2 hard tops and one other rag, but these are rare sightings, and I get a kick out of Mercedes owners whom stop and ask me about the car. I bought mine new in 05 and plan on enjoying her as she is over many years. The Crossfire is and will be more noted as time goes on, take care of yours.

That is exactly why I didn't buy an SRT6, it just doesn't feel like am am really controlling the car if there isn't a clutch. I realize the automatic is actually faster, but I just don't enjoy an automatic. I can't understand why they didn't offer a manual transmission in the SRT6.

I still have a problem, I need the measurements for the rods that connect the wheel to the the subframe. I had a really good site made up of retired mechanics, they emailed me the wiring diagrams for my car, but I can't find it.
