Wheel well access holes... Need Help
I am having an ongoing discussion.. (fight) with the delivering dealer of my Crossfire Coupe.
Are there supposed to be any access holes in the wheelwell that are to be open..
In another way, should all of these access holes be covered, or not.
I found 4 oval covers, but there are still holes which do not have covers on them.
Thanks for the info.

I just checked the wheel wells = fender wells on both my Crossfires and they are solid. No holes. If you're talking the rims, there is a Crossfire cover that goes over the bolts.
Maybe post a picture?

There are two access covers, 1 on each side to get to the fog lamps. They don't have the greatest clips on them. If you PM Imafink he has the parts numbers for them. There are no other holes, doors etc in the wheel wells. There are none in the rear.

Thank all for your replies. THis is a great group of owners helping each other.
I found two access holes in the rear of the front wheelwells.
These are now filled with oval plugs.
There is still one hole in the passenger wheel well, a round one a little over an inch in diameter without a plug, and I still don't know if there is supposed to be one.
I find it interesting that the two wheel wells (07 coupe) are so different.

I am referring to the area where the front wheels sit under the front fender. Look on the passenger side in front and behind of the front suspension on the inner surface of the wheel Housing.
I have an uncovered hole behind the front suspension that I don't know if it should be sealed with a plug.
I finally convinced them to seal the two access holes in front oval holes with plugs.
I think that I am showing my age by using the term wheel well.
Oh well.
Thanks for your asistance

Take pictures and upload them to your account on photobucket.com. then copy and paste the url to your reply so all of us here can see what the f-bomb your talking about. (Pardon my french)
Just pulled my front wheels and rear ones to put in new center caps that go better with my color scheme. The only holes I can find when looking at the wheel well are the foglight access doors which are rectangular and as you look at the wheel well on either side of where the suspension comes out, on the back wall at the bottom there is an open round hole on the left and an open oval hole on the right. Those are the only holes I could find and both are open on my car, no plugs.
Hope this helps - Pat

Pat,
Thank you for the information.
The info re: the open holes is what I was seeking.
I wanted to make sure that this hole is not supposed to be covered.
The suggestion re: taking photos is a good one, which I will do today.

Ok, This is what I have discovered, In the front wheel housing (wheel well) there are two oval access holes which should be covered with rubber plugs.
In the passenger front, (right) side, there is also a round hole at the rear of this area which does not, and should not have a cover. (I think)
I have posted to my flicker account 4 photos showing these now covered access holes and the one uncovered hole.

If this hole is supposed to be covered with a plug, please let me know.
Otherwise, thanks all for your advice and assistance.

Have the same two holes and neither have plugs. Be careful plugging things that may be intended for drainage. (man that doesn't sound right?) Oh well.

Pat :
The 4 oval plugs came with the car with instructions as to where they were to be installed.
Two in the wheel wells, and two in the reat right in front of the rear wheels.
I think that the oval one's were meant to be covered, the round one left open.
Again, thanks for your reply.
