Default What is the correct PSI?

What is the correct PSI on a stock crossfire base coupe? I know it is written on the door jam but my car is stored somewhere and I will not see it for a while. I wanted to order a part and need the correct PSI. Thanks guys!

It's 32 for the fronts & 33 for the rears. I usually keep 35 in all 4.

Is it ok to keep 35 PSI in all of them?

36 psi is recommended all around for high speed/spirited driving. Otherwise 32 F/33 R.

I don't have a Tire pressure monitor on my car because it is a base coupe. Had my car 4 years and visually inspect the tires every morning and afternoon after work. But it is very difficult to tell on our tires! I am getting those valve caps that use colors to tell if the tires are low or not. Anyone use them? Do they work well?

Save your money. Buy a good quality air guage and check the pressure once a week if you want to be really **** about it.....less often after you feel more comfortable with it.

Check here for a better quality gauge:

I'm with danimal, buy a good quality tire guage. Like most on this thread, I run 35psi all the way around.

Yeesh, thats a good example of what happens when two dissimilar metals sit agianst each other for to long. Another great example is the old land rover series trucks!

The advice above is sound. I think I'm pretty **** about tire pressures and I check every 45 days on all my vehicles. Another good thing to remember is that the tire pressures we're typically referring to are under cold conditions. That's really the only way to know for sure. If you check your tires after driving awhile, you probably ought to assume 3-4 psig higher readings since the elevated tire temp raises the internal air pressure.
