They were made to be fitted by tire dealers making tire replacement a one-stop deal.

180 I agree that they can clone a dead sensor by manually reading the sequence/serial number off of the sensor label. I retract the "Working" requirement.

Thank You onehundred80! I know you & others have followed this for quite some time. Your link to Schrader is invaluable. This confirms that there is, now, a viable alternative to the oem sensors which required the specific DRB 3 tools in order to replace & have operating TPMS sensors. This may be "old news", but again, a Thank you is in order!

Hi Inchworm I'm doing well. I hope you are as well.

So I purchased one of those retractable trunk covers that you have. I really liked it and needed something to better cover the stuff in the back. Still waiting on the deliver. I thought I was going to be able to use an ebay fall discount code but it didn't apply for that item.

There was also an option to learn the sensors which I will absolutely be trying. I know that is a big deal requirement for many. There was an option to connect to the dashboard and HVAC ECU's, but that did not work on either the 06 or 07. I could read a lot of drive train related sensors. There were other menu options that did not work. Maybe I should start a new thread specifically related to this scanner, and any others that may later decide to buy it can chime in about it. It's looking better but I couldn't recommend it yet until I get a longer list of what functions work or not for everyone.

Are there any special function requests to check?
I'm hoping you'll still compile the list of pids, (if that is the correct name) that are compatible with the drb3 for this tool. Also, if you will, please create a new thread specifically for this topic and this tool.

I created a new thread late last month. Just do a search on Foxwell and you will find it. I was surprised with the information it provided in a couple areas, but overall I cannot recommend the scanner. Some functions were just dead ends, and it did not do all that was outlined in the website worksheet list. If someone had a convertible top problem it can provide detail information. I decided the value was not there to do a full test and detailed document on the scanner with other projects I have going on. I would check for a specific scanner function if requested. One function important to many is the tire pressure reset procedure. I tested that function on my 06 coupe and it did not work. Nothing wrong with the sensors as the reset worked using the DRBIII. It may work with 07-08 Crossfires as they have some scanner communication differences, but my 07 does not have tire pressure sensors to test.

Thank you, sincerely. You spent the coin and took the time to research a hopeful prospect so the rest of us didn't have to.
