Oil Level Sensor/Hood Strut
Oil level sensor is bad, dealer wants $523.00 to replace and it is NOT covered under my service contract. This is such a ripoff
. Fortunately I can drive the car without replacing as long as I check the oil level between iol changes.
Also, hood strut is bad and they want $295.00 to replace that, another ripoff! Think I will just stick with a big broom stick! Any ideas or suggestions on either of these?
Many thanks!

BTW: shouldn't this be under All Crossfires?
No, they both are under the hood.
This post started over a year ago, and the OP has not posted in over a year. Maybe the hood slammed on his head.

LLLOL! Do check out BMA auto parts. I had not heard of them here before unless I don't recall, which is common.
