convertible top locked, intermittent buzzer while driving
Of course, it could be a plastic tab and not the switch - the only thing to do is get in there and verify if the issue is the switch or the leaf/arm that activates the switch.
I"ve got to SEE the damn thing to know which one it is...

$10 says the switch works fine and there's something much deeper going on. Probably shoddy soldering joints on the control module just like the starter relay or some other build quality issue.
Sure you can spend half a day disassembling your windshield header and replace the switch, or you could stick your finger in there and see if the car responds when you push it.

Just an update on the TOP micro switch, looking for one from a scraped roadster and Thunk I found one. Also, need some help. Differnt issue , bought car and previous owner said occasional start problems. Well I replaced the pcm with an oem , nos in box sealed part don't have the part number easily available, ended in AA. In any event, had no start issues before and after new part installation. Yesterday, no start, third try and ok, charged battery overnight, same intermittent start this am, battery is good .
HERE IS THE CONDITION AND SEQUENCE ON A START.... KEY ON ,DASH LIGHTS UP,TURN TO START AND NOTHING ,DASH GOES BLANK, RETRY AND DASH LITES UP, AGAIN STARTER DOES NOT ENGAGE, DASH GOES BLANK, COMPLETE POWER LOSS. Have not replaced cam or crank sensors but probably not the issue. Too Much Fun😅

good point on the battery, hope so , but when it decide to start , plenty of spin on the starter, cleaning terminsls now and checking voltage.
Your dash going "blank" tells me there is a voltage issue.. despite what our newest expert authority says..

Almost as hard as trying to guide someone in electronic troubleshooting who has only a "mechanical" perspective, impeded by others with the same perspective.

thanks again, negative terminal was clean ,BUT was not tight, cleaned and new strap, lets see what happens. Go ing back to original thread, top issues. Car goes into Shop in Ontario Cal on monday Service manager a friend of mine an will allow me to follow tech with troubleshooting. Should be a good post next week, going dark on friday tbru monday, thanks everyone, RB
