Just a reminder, I'm genuinely curious why you would insult me but you didn't post the correct information. Are you saying that you think it's impossible to test a switch for electrical continuity while it is installed in a vehicle?

Just returned from the Chrysler dealership at Ontario , California. Tech was very savy on the top operation an immediately set on to the w/s header switch. Not an item that is in stock, parts dept.ordering .

My 2005 top also won't lock down tight and controller button blinks red. Can't get it to go up or come down.
Have watched videos about using wrench tool that comes with new Crossfires to MANUALLY lift top
up or close it down. I'm looking for that tool for hours online...does ANYONE know where to really find
the specific tool: 5140795AA. All the sites say they are DISCONTINUED except one for $77.00 which
is ridiculous for a single Wrench with a bend in it!!
Also there is mention of using a basic wrench ....DOES THAT WORK ?

Oh also does anyone else have a 'B' on their emblem that is in center of back and front of car on outside...instead of the Chrysler emblem??

Someone once made these wrenches and gave them away, a thin 10mm wrench works. I put a dating on here and you can make one yourself.
A wrench is available from somewhere and it has the 6mm Allen wrench on it as well. Look for details on this forum, ala-xfire knows all about it.

Waiting with baited breath! Was he able to order the switch? Did it come in? Did it fix the problem?

Switch due in on WEDNESDAY and we will find out then.The dealership is 90 miles from Palm Springs, hoping I can get over by weeks end. Thanks for the inquiry, will advise asap. RB
