THE FIFTH ELEMENT... I mean O-Ring Post 2 of 2 January 12, 2026
Starring my car "Svengoolie", Bruised ******* and Mimi YoYodawitch.
NOTE: It is not necessary to change the 5th o-ring.
This post was done just to show where and what it was for. It is possible to break the filter housing if it is done incorrectly.

After doing the oil level sensor, I had to add new oil and a new oil filter.
The MANN oil filter kit comes with 5 o-rings.
Usually when people change their oil and filter, there's always that extra 5th o-ring that gets tossed out.
Well, I did a little digging, which led to more pictures, which red to more descriptions, which led to another post!

This is the work that I did on my car. It's for reference only. Any work that you do on your car is your responsibility.

Have you ever done a tutorial on replacing speed sensors? It's too bad this string is not sorted and categorized because they are the best I have seen.

@ZERACER Thanks!
I haven't done the speed sensors yet, but anytime I work on my car I try to make a post on it. All of the links to my posts are at the bottom of the first page, below the pictures.
The next one will be replacing the parking brake shoes and hardware.

Emergency/Parking Brake hardware replacement. PART 1 of 5 (10 picture restriction per post) January 4th - February 4th, 2026.
Svengoolie takes a brake!

I noticed that Sven like to roll down hill when I have the car in neutral (manual transmission). I've decided to replace the old parking brake parts.
So here we are again with another post!
This is how I do the work on my own car. I'm not a professional mechanic. The pictures and descriptions are for reference only. Any work that you do on your car is your responsibility.

Front Stabilizer (Anti-Sway) Bar Replacement. PART 1 of 5 (10 picture restriction per post) February 15th - February 20th, 2026.
Svengoolie has become a lawyer? Well, he did pass the bar!

I was replacing my engine splash shields, the ones that hold up the belly pan. I noticed that my stabilizer bar was in rough shape. The coating was missing and there was a lot of rust on it.
Well, I decided to replace it, since I had to remove it to replace the splash shields anyway. I was lucky enough to find a N.O.S. replacement on e bay.
So here we go again with another post!
