(Looks like some of the Buyers/Dealers have kept them for a few weeks themselves & put a few fun miles on them?) There have been none in the Auctions for weeks from what I have read on here in other threads.

The lot where I bought mine had several cars of the same color. Out of those several, 1 or 2 were 'perfect', no dings or scratches. The others had door dings, or small scuffs, etc.
Eventually these will be the only ones remaining. When that happens, you should get a little discount IMHO.

Lets take a little history lesson. In the late 60's the muscle cars like the 427 vettes and the dodge superbirds were going cheep. Mainly because the price of gas at that time was going up and john q public couldn't imagine owning something that would cost him so much. Dealers did everything to get rid of them. I'm not sure but the price, I imagine, was around 50 cents a gallon for gas(imagine that !). Anyway, these cars now are going for $500,000 to a cool million depending on the condition.
I'm not saying what the future will bring but I know they are not making the SRT-6's any more and they are a deal at today's prices. I cant touch a clean small block mid year corvettevett under 30 thousand. I get better performance, handling and the looks are excellent too. Plus a 3 year warranty. Say what you like,I'll keep my SRT-6, have a lot of fun, and who knows, maybe John Q will wake up and the prices will start skyrocketing like they should.

Muscle cars were an Icon to an era, like Elvis and the Beatles.
The XF has about the same chance as the Pontiac Fiero and the "Flock-of-Seagulls" of becoming an Iconic Classic.
So drive the wheels off yours, don't store in the garage!

I guess you must be related to John Q Public because that is exactly the way they thought back then. You have a right to your opinion for sure, Me, I'm old enough and I'll take my chances.

"2007 Barrett-Jackson, Scottsdale: Hemi Superbird and Daytona Sold at $750,000".
The plymouth in today's Nada auction guide goes for 431,000 that is "1970 Plymouth Superbird 2 Door Hardtop (Hemi 426).
These are the types of cars people didn't want, that is what I was saying.
And what reasoning did you use for selling yours?
One of these days when I have time I'm going to track the going prices of older but comparable sports cars to the SRT-6. What I have in mind are cars like the 300ZX, RX-7 turbo, Supra turbo, Dodge Stealth turbo (along with the Mitsubishi 3000). These cars are all around 10 - 15 years old, have similar horsepower, had about the same increase in hp over their base versions, and were marketed as premier models. I'm not up on '92 - '02 Camaros and Firebirds/Trans ams but believe there were several specialty models that are comparable? Cobra Mustangs also look like good candidates. And the Prowler should be included also. Anyone have other cars to add?
What I would like to do is determine an average value for comparable sports cars over time, the effect of mileage on values, possibly what features help/hurt values, and see if maybe there is a wow factor that comes into play. Then this can be plugged into the SRT-6 and maybe, just maybe a somewhat accurate guessimate can be made of the future value of the 6.
Unfortunately by the time I get around to doing this the SRT-6 will be 10 years old and all we would have to do is check the used car ads for the going price.

The reason I sold it? It was NOT fun anymore. When I bought it I beat the crap out of it every weekend. Cruise nights, Street Racing (I was 21 years old) etc... When they got to be worth 45+K I got out, too hard to repair and find parts etc... I actually have more fun now with the SRT-4 ACR and my wife's SRT-6.
