Coolant change info?
Hey guys... I've read the specs for the coolant, buts its confusing compared to most cars. Is there an aftermarket off-the-shelf brand that meets the specs that you guys already know of?
And... For draining, just drain the radiator, which will include the block, and drain the aux pump to get that seperate system also?
Tehe thanks.

The manual does mention NOT to use Propylene-Glycol types of additives. They don't provide the required corrosion protection.
This why you should never use other additives like water wetter, etc..
NEVER use green coolant in German cars... EVER. If you sniff the stuff in German cars you'll notice it has a very acrid odor compared to the sweet odor of green and orange coolant formulations used by Domestic and Japanese manufacturers, and the properties are pretty different.
In fact, if you're ever low, it's a BETTER idea to top off with DISTILLED water than any kind of green or orange coolant.

Ah, G0-5. I've had good luck with that in a few Fords. Well, by good luck I mean it did its job and met the specs.... I guess the srt6 needs it for the aluminum build of the engine?
Anyways thanks for the answer

What coolant to buy?

Coolant - Mercedes Benz Coolant is cheaper than the Mopar stuff.
Turns out Valvoline ZEREX G-05 (Gold bottle?) is also OK (So says the service manual), but it doesn't explicitly meet the MB 325.0 standard.
The SRT6 has a capacity of 15.3 quarts, NA Crossfire's have a capacity of 11.8 quarts, so either way you'll need to buy 2 gallons of coolant, but you won't use it all on an NA system. See coolant bottle for mixing percentages. 50/50 is typical, the other 50 being distilled water.

2 gallons of coolant (see my post above for coolants that are acceptable).

2 gallons of distilled water.
You won't use it all, but you need more than 4 quarts of each, so buy the second gallon of each.
(This does not include water for flushing the system, if you choose to do so.)
^^^ You're right it's 4 gallons of fluid, I have only seen Xerex GO-5 in ready to use 50/50 gallon jugs so I posted that he should buy 4 gallons of the stuff. Thanks for the clarification.
When you flush the coolant, will all of the coolant come out including the stuff in the HE? I have the LET HE and was wondring if I have to disconnect it to finish flushing the coolant or will will it just come out with the rest?
You have to drain the heat exchanger circuit seperately. Its only common junction with the engine cooling circuit is at the top.
I pulled the lines off of the heat exchanger pump, which drained a lot of fluid out. The connections on the heat exchanger itself might drain more, but they aren't easy to get to.
