a little off topic but has anyone else seen this?

I think that these are from the same company building them for the group buy, they have probably decided to sell them to VIVID.

I emailed them and asked if they have them in stock or back order

 

same guys.....

 

i already called vivid. they have none on hand and no idea when they will get them. its just a vacant listing

 

I guess its great that if you aren't in the group buy you can still purchase one.

However its thanks to all the guys in the group buy that this product has even made it to VIVID or any other site to be sold. I'll be the first to admitt that.

When I talked to Devin yesterday he said that there will (most likely) be additional builds based on demand.... so those that didnt get in on the initial buy will be able to get one... just a little later...

Then there is the Quaife...??

 

Anything else come of your conversation with Devin? Any more news of
when first units will ship? Any other gateing issues to slow down the
production? Or, is all going swimmingly at the moment?

Well, It can't be much longer because they're shipping the SRT-8 units that we're supposedly ahead of in line.

spoke to Devin and Dania Friday 5-6-11 we should have our units started to ship by the+ or - a day or two on the 15 of May . he will call me Thursday 5-12 for a up a update.

By the time you read this My car will on it way to Florida.

I had emailed Devin yesterday to make sure the gear set I ordered and sent him was indeed a 3.07 ratio. Here was the reply:

The first thing that I did was to verify that it was a 3.07 ratio.
I was told Friday, that we should see the first unit or two about the 15th. I will keep you updated.

Thanks Jim. I figured you'd chime in. The last time I contacted Devin, he said you were getting updates directly from Dana, so I didn't bug him.

 

not a good update: well the information is not good,,spoke to Dana, he said,,,
the side gears were not in the marked boxes that were being tempered. they were skipped over,, so now we have a new mailing date,,on or about the 10 of June. that is if nothing else goes wrong.

if things can go wrong, they seem to do so for us, but we have a few Doctors on the site,correct? so they have all the patients for us .. I know that is not funny but i have to laugh. after all i did say we wouldn't get our Wavetrac until June didn't I? jim

Yes, we were skipped over. You can buy a Wavetrac for the Jeep, that was behind us in line, just about anywhere now. They made a boatload of them. I think we deserve a discount for being screued by them ..... time wise. I still want my wavetrac but I'm close to sending a furious email. I'll contain my ire a little longer but I will not buy anything from them ever again. Small group, big price and passed over. JMHO.

Get a better discount and I will purchase. The timing still sucks but for the right price I can step up. Probably find some others that will be willing to purchase also.
