dont feel guilty! i spent 25 mins talking to devon myself and i have never met the guy! he was more than willing to answer any questions i had and seemed truly interested in getting this build going.
ok fellas its time! those on the list that want this we need your deposits. if we can have them by fri the build could possibly start mon. lets get this done!

thats the issue doc. everybody is waiting until someone else does something and now we have stalled. unless the deposits ARE MADE this diff is NOT going to be built. the longer everyone waits the longer the build will take

heres a thought... everyone that still needs to make a deposit do it today and the build can start on monday!!

 

I don't think that is the issue, at least not with me...missing work to take care of my mother, buying a car for my son who's house just burned and took his car with it...means, not committing the credit card unless people are serious...I'm serious, and I will pay when the time comes...so I don't think I am holding up anyone at this point...the point is this is 1100 bucks, for something that doesn't exist today, and are people willing to trust this company to make this happen...I trust them to do what they say they can do, but, that's just me...I take risks...maybe they need to come on here and sell their product to those sitting on the fence...might help, I don't know...

i would like to try to clear something up. the wavetrac lsd DOES exist. it hasnt been fitted to the srt-6/slk32 carrier. thats what the deposits and purchases are for. they can build the lsd for virtually any car, but without interest it isnt profitable for them to build them. nobody wants to build 30 units for 1100$ each and sell 4 units. bad for buisness. but to build 10 for 10 committed purchases. a better sale and worth while.

simply put unless we have 7 to 10 deposits soon this will NOT be built. cant say it any plainer. im asking everyone who said they wanted a diff to make the deposit so we can get this build finished. or at least tell allen you arent interested so he can remove your name form the list and we will try to get them to build us a set for the 4 who definatly want it. im not trying to be a jerk but we are going around in circles when we should be racing down the track! every deposit is needed!!

 

I don't like anyone HOLDING my credit card number that I haven't done business with before...just me...now is it 7 at 1100 bucks the minimum, because I was under the impression it was 20, and that could take some time to get that many to commit. That time is what I was worried about. The money isn't any problem for me...but the time factor is...If I see this moving forward, I will call and talk to them...but, I am committed to the 1100 buck price, or you can remove me from the list...now you mentioned in your PM if I couldn't afford it, because I was busy with family expenses, that wasn't what I was implying, just been busy, and as I look at my fuel receit from this mornings fill up...it was $1155.00...that happens twice a week...you do the math...

Has anyone gotten a quote for having a shop install this yet? And has this opportunity for an LSD been posted in the non SRT sections (I found it under new posts). I have a Limited, but a one time chance to buy an LSD that will improve handling, durability, and open up future mods has me very interested.

 

unitrax gave me a ballpark price of 225$ for a bench install. this would involve only the diff install into the carrier and a 24 hr turnaround time is what they strive for. approx 75$ shipping each way from the southeast.
hasnt been posted in the non srt section but because you reuse the oem ring and pinion gear it will also work for the non srt-6 xfires. main reason for not posting there is to keep 1 thread on track and up to date.
