*Needed* 20 to Pre-order Wavetrac LSD for SLK32/SRT-6
If this helps any of you with your decision, being around the trucking industry all the these years, we are always needing maintenance. One thing that is most expensive is rear differentials. We have two in most cases. This upgrade to your car will strengthen it to last forever. It takes out the weak point. If you lost a rear end playing around, drifting, drag racing, doing a burn out, whatever, it will cost you more to repair it than this upgrade. Any good repair shop can install this part in the diff once it is built and perfected for install. These were all questions I asked, and was assured would take place. As for the money, Devon assured me, nothing is billed to your card until the diff is perfected and built, the second payment isn't billed until it is shipped. I am happy with that. My concern was being billed before a perfected product, and that isn't the case...if you are keeping your car, and you like to drive hard like I do, this is a part more important than any other upgrade you are thinking about...bar none....

well, Tommy, those teflon valve covers will still look great as you are being wrecker'd off the track....lol....it's only money....and if you were taking out some hot chick trying to get laid, you'd spend 1100 bucks in about 2 weeks...so, are you going to screw around or step up to the plate...the latter is available anytime, this type of rear end isn't.....

i spoke with allen and with his approval we have a slk32 that is within 10 minutes of the shop that is willing to be the test car. this will help immensly as we wont have to be shipping the lsd back and forth for any modifications that need to happen. im hoping he makes his deposit monday and a few more to get this going.
slowly but surely we are making progress!!! how bout them v-8 and turboed/sc cars? you will need this more than anyone!

Seriously, though, I'd love to buy into this diff, but the funds just aren't there.
Iam back!
I need to know:
What is the final diff price at this point?
How many have deposited their checks?
What is the real number of confirmed rear purchasers needed to get the hardware built, tested and delivered?
Whom do I make a check out to? Address name phone ( In a pm if you wish).
Woody.

Hey Woody:
All the information is in the first post now, who to call etc. Myself .... I have a few things to iron out first but I'm most likely making my deposit sometime this week. I'm convinced I need this and now it's just a matter of corralling the installation butterflies ... and making the call.

Perfect condition at the time of tear down. But i stopped driving it right after i noticed something was off. I'm sure if driven like that with geometry off damage would of eventually occured.
Also deposit made at time of post
.
Strange enough i never did find the pin. I dont know if it wigged out or sheared off. My hope is with the wavetrac I will have a reliable limited slip differential, it should also take away the massive jolts to the pinion and ring that open differentials experience during wheelspin.

FYI, I just called Devin and ordered my first wavetec rear assembly and was told that I was #8 on the list so far.
If you want one you should get on the list or else youll have to pay more for the one or two that will be horded till the community discovers that the rear assembly is in the 2 -3 K$$$ range. I dont think they are going to make these a production item
Enjoy, Woody
