Why are you selling the SSB Mikey>?
Anyway, this should be enough to get the ball rolling....and I will let him know I will want the second at the end of the build...so we are a lot closer to this becoming reality....cool...

The federal racketeers (IRS) want more money.... insurance bill is also too big.. all the usual stuff...
Since it's just me now, I dont really need 3 cars and a truck.... maybe I'll pick up another later. Or a nice MB sedan when the Intrepid dies one of these years....

KRAZY, did they have a SRT pumpkin or a SLK that they did the eval on???
He didnt seem worried, just wants to make sure it fits/works in both so there is only one design.....

I'm hoping that the car will become a little more adept at corners now....Probably going to hook up a safe throw switch in the car to "cut" the fuses for ABS and Traction control ("True" TC Off switch) and see how the baby likes a little oversteer

Look at what the E90 guys think...also, scroll down and watch the video.

I just called Devin but he had left early for an appointment. And you know what? 1-800 numbers don't work from Puerto Rico! #@!!&**#! I'll give him a call tomorrow and put a deposit down. Someone should get in touch with the other racers to let them know what's up. I'm thinking Jane and Wedge should both have a LSD whether they know it or not. So add me to the list as deposit pending. As far as the instal goes, I have plenty of time to interview all the possible shops and I'll start right away.

i have a slk32 10 minutes away for the initial install and will be contacting a srt-6 owner tonight to see if he wants to test a unit also.
zorro i answered your question regarding the install of the diff. 225 $ bench install from unitrax , axles and reinstall into the car will depend on your mechanical ability or the amount of time the shop you choose will charge. if you dont have unitrax do the install of the diff into the carrier your shop should be familiar with lsd installs into a mercedes car
i personally want to thank everyone who is on board with this project. allen has worked a ton to get this going and its one of the few true custom items for our cars that is performance based. companys like needswings and autotech are our salvation when modding our cars and without the support of the members they wont build the parts we need. once again thanks to all of you!!!

So how many SRT-6 diff failures do we know about?
Also, when we all get our wavetracs, I want to see photos of the condition of everyone's old diffs, and to know how hard they drove/raced it. I think that would be excellent data have.

glad to see you are in Tom...and yes, I have a taste for expensive women...just ask my wife...she has cost me enough over the years...anyway, if we can get my mechanic updated to what is required for this install...maybe you can come up for a weekend...
Looks like our discussion has regenerated some interest...lol...glad everyone is in....everyone who drives the wheels off of them, that is....

I don't know how much it will help 1/4 mile times but it won't hurt. It will help those of us that go screaming around corners or like to attend HPDE track days. That's where I get beat now, I can't get on the gas as early as other cars coming off the corners. Cars with LSD's can drive over the curbs but I can't. I tried once near the limit and lost control. Given that this is a one time offer I think more will get on board. As far as the C32 crowd, do they even know about it? Unless there are lots of PM's flying back and forth they don't. I got an infraction for trying to let them know. (non sponser advertising. WTF)
