Need Advice on Mods
I think you could get a CAI, Tune and Pulley for that.
Most popular (and from what the guys tell me, most effective) performance mods I've seen for the SRT6.
NOW, it will be interesting to see what the guys who own modded SRTs have to say - lets' see how well I"ve been paying attention.

The following is based on "bank per buck within budget". Get a Eurocharged tune, 65mm supercharger pulley, fat and sticky (SUMMER) rear tires (kumho ecsta xs 285/35/19 are on sale on Ebay). If any money left over or your rear tires are in great shape, add Needswings single CAI. Get it all done at the SAME TIME to optimize the tune. If you have a healthy SRT6 then the tune and pulley all by themselves will challenge the car's ability to get the power to the road. I chose 65mm pulley to avoid having to mess with air/fuel ratios and fuel delivery rate issues. Goal was to make everything easily reversible if desired at some point. I got the TCU tune as well, but I had a larger budget available than your specified. Goes likabatouttahell. Thanks to all the senior posters who did all the pioneering work to make my journey easy and pleasant. props.
I agree with Pizza. Start with: And in this order of priority
- CAI
- Tune
- Sprint Booster

I agree - the ecu tune gives me instantaneous eyeball sucking throttle response. My result was 56 additional whp w/tune and 65mm pulley. I just purchased a lightly used CAI and will before-dyno/install-CAI/after-dyno test this mod at Eurocharged-DC on the 16th of this month.
1. DCAI (thermal coated if you can spring for the extra $$$)
2. EC Tune
3. 62mm Karmen SC Pulley
4. Any left over get an SL55 fuel pump to reduce lean issues that you may see with the 62mm pulley
The Sprint Booster is not really needed after a EC tune.

I like our stage 1 kit for the first round of mods, hence that's why I made it the stage 1 kit
if nothing else get a catch can kit on the car to stop the oil ingestion asap.

Down payment on a new car.... OK, well if that doesn't work, shop around for anyone selling out their parts. CAI really can't be harmed, so used would save $$$$$. Pulley used, Code 3, again, still good, and will save almost half, The tune comes last, so you wait until Eurocharged runs one of their specials...save $$$$. The Catch can is a must. Intakes can be found used as well. Used, you still have $$$$ left over for those new rear tires you are going to need.
hmmm.....no mention of the wavetrac. I guess that blows the budget straight up.
I would have figured the wavetrac before new tires unless the tires on the vehicle are really crap.
You'll find out soon enough with pulley+tune....

Running the 65mm pulley, a wavetrac isn't really needed unless you intend to track the car every week. For normal or spirited driving, the open diff is fine...but, launches on a regular basis. I add it to the list...
