HAHA any way he goes on to tell me i need a new tensioner part#5143092AA $97.00 and a new Damper- crans part #5166765AA $429.00 and a new pulley-idlns part #68020888AA $61.92 and the Alternatr pulley is bad so they i need a new Alternatr part#5097755AA $985.00 plus labor out the door total $2,200.95
.... is this stuff i can get from a vendor around here and maybe do some of the work myself???? and just because pulley is ban on Alternatr can't just the pulley be changed out... it seems to be working OK...any HELP would be great...thank you

The Damper is the crank pulley. You can swap the crank pulley, but you'll need the tool to hold your crank stationary while tightening the bolt.
I gotta get back to work.

Yes, you can change out the alternator pulley very easily. I happen to have a stock alternator pulley that I just removed from my low mileage SRT6. You can have it for $20.00 delivered to your door.
I find it highly unlikely that all of those pulleys failed (are failing) at the same time. In any event, you can definitely R & R the pulleys yourself but as grip grip said you'll need a special tool to "hold" the crank pulley while removing the bolt and replacing the bolt (you should also get a new crank bolt). That bolt has a VERY high torque and the bolt is difficult to remove and also difficult to re-torque correctly.

How many miles on your SRT6? Have you ever changed out the idler pulley (pulley immediately to the left of the supercharger pulley as you're standing in front of the car and looking at the engine) or put a new bearing in the supercharger pulley? Those are normally the first pulleys / bearings to fail and make the rattling sound you describe.

OK but before I take your money . . . I just went and got the alternator pulley. It could use a sandblast and paint (which I would be happy to do for you). I don't see how one of these pulleys can really go bad. There are no bearings . . it is simply a steel pulley that bolts right onto the alternator. If you're sure you want it I'll PM you my PayPal ID and it will be on the way to you tomorrow (or Friday if you want me to clean it up and paint it). Let me know . . .

WOW.... that sure is a problem the little pulley just left of the supper charger sure makes a lot of noise....also supper charger pulley makes a little rattle noise....the alternator seems to shake a little, like its out of alignment when car is running.....

Your Parts Search Returned 2 Part(s)
BUT FYI - Rather than put the same pulley back on there, I would suggest you consider the Pulley Saver Kit from Needswings
Pulley Saver Kit Waldig/NeedsWings
or the LateModel 21 belt wrap kit
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...l21+pulley+kit
Both will eliminate that (destined to fail) idler pulley.

You should also remove and inspect your supercharger pulley. Not sure which "generation' of EC pulley you have but there is a possibility that it is also failing. If it's noisy then that bearing is probably going bad too. But let's take one step at a time . . .
OK....i'm going to get saver kit ordered..... the 65 is their 2nd batch and its not very loud but when i get my ear real close it has a little rattle noise( very hard to hear).......
