what happened to the dyno on the tvt 300 kit? did i miss the thread?
sounds like a similar set up from Startec, it will easily may 300hp, but you guys wil end up paying $4000 maybe more for that power.
If you can get a crossfire with blown motor or minor damaged for $5k there is a crate 383 from GM cost $4000 it's the HT383, then there is the race version ZZ383. Simple TBI will put out 350 hp and over 450 Ft lbs on te HT motor., under lowboost it makes 500hp
even better, if you already own a crossfire buy anothone same color, this way you can modify one with a crate motor and use the other for smog inspections. just swap lic. plates now you will have fun destroying every AMG on your block

the whole point of a second crossfire is for real racing, be it autocross, drag or street. just flip your licence plates bettween your daily driver/smog insection car and your gutted Street bruiser . easy japanesy I just can't make it any simplier. this will cost far less than buying a used SRT6 and be a whole lot more exciting to tune and tinker on.

and i for one would love to have the time and money to rip the crossfire apart and install a slk55 or amg63 engine, adapt a tr-6060 or hydraulic t-56 (so i could have a manual), and adapt a cts-v rearend (to maintain IRS) and make stupid power to **** everyone off.
Actually there is no need to remove the ecu or wiring harness, Woody left all this intact while running the sock m112 engine off a custom ecu, I believe he did the megasquirt system while having disconnected the Bosch motronic computer all together.
there are more than just one computer, there is the Engine, Body, Transmission for Automatics and ABS/TC. each controls it's own system. I'm just talking about making a fast semi gutted street racer, none of which will be usuable as a grocery getter, that's what the Inspection Crossfire is for.

Finally have some dyno results.
Car put down 192 RWHP on the dyno we use. As a comparison we tested a headers, exhaust, UD pullies, injectors, tune, and intake car and it put down 156 RWHP on the same dyno.
What does this mean? Nothing really, except that the Stage 2 mani and heads do add significant power.
We will be doing a more radical cam that will be ready in 2 mos. We are limiting production to 15 units. First come, first served.

I'm curious as to how funky you dyno graph looks, are there a lot of spikes on your dyno?

Nope. Those are the numbers on this dyno. It doesn't like the na cars. The only dyno I've seen decent numbers on is the Mustang dyno. I'm thinking there is a limp mode if the front wheels aren't spinning. That's the only conclusion I can make.

not to be insulting, but thats it?! something thing cant be right. assuming you hit the 300hp mark, that would be a 36% loss in drivetrain efficiency and to lose ~100hp is ridiculous and pitiful.... i understand that traction control may be interfering along with a few other things, but still... i hope you can the issues straightened out and show us more accurate figures....that is unless the drivetrain really IS that inefficient, in which case we need to be less worried about increasing power and more focused on reducing that the loss in the drivetrain....
with that said, once again Anthony, you have made the n/a crowd proud and we're all glad to see improvements!
