head some weird noises in front of the engine today Lifted the hood and saw the water pump wobbling and also saw some oil down on the belly pan where is that coming from . will pull the water pump this week . What is a fair price for a pump?

Oil in the belly pan most likely from the valve cover vent covers.
RockAuto says $49 - $139 under Chrysler NA,
$43 - $116 under MB SLK320 for the water pump.

At $150, NeedsWings is the best choice for peace of mind, Rob will not treat you wrong.
No, the water pump will not make the vent covers leak, they are a know problem with the M112 engine.

If you DIY, then :
Lay the new one down and insert each bolt you remove from the old pump into the matching hole of the new pump.
When the old pump is removed, swap all the bolts back to it.
As you install the new pump, pull the matching bolt from the old pump.
( the bolts are different sizes and lengths )

This morning I removed old OEM and installed the new Gates water pump that I got from Neeedswings. was pretty smooth. Had to get the xf up on stands to drop the belly pan and had to tap two blank bolt holes tho hold a vacuum bracket and also replace the serpentine belt with a new one to be safe the job took 5 hr.

One lady's pump went out like that at the Dragon two years ago - Chuk changed it in the parking lot with minimal tools. At that point, I made up my mind that the car is just not that hard to work on.
I changed my belt tensioner and idler pulley in just over 45 minutes. And oil changes on these cars are easier than on any four wheel vehicle I've owned.
As to your oil leak, I've owned three Crossfires, never had the issue. My newest car, an '07 with 28000 miles, is leaking like a rusty pail. I ordered gaskets and bolts from Rob and will be yanking the covers off and doing it myself. Looks like the "1 out of 3 have the oil leak" theory holds water, at least for me. I've also had to put two alternators on this car already - but I'm still gonna have a forth Crossfire - my next one will be an SRT6.

iT WASN'T OIL IN THE BELLY PAN BUT COOLING FLUID MIXED WITH DIRT JUST CLEANED IT ALL UP AND CHECK THE VALVE AREA FORLUEAK NONE FOUND....
