Have a 2004 with a manual transmission. Can someone tell me if it's possible to increase my idle speed up to 800-900 rpm? I find that when starting clutch engagement I over compensate the rpm's when starting out. Seems pedal is just too sensitive when I use my lead foot!

Mine idles around 600 rpm. You have to get a feel for the clutch pedal.
Push the pedal in, put it into first gear. Slowly release the pedal while slowly increasing the rpms at the same time.
Eventually you'll find the sweet spot for your car.
The advice above is good but the answer is practice practice practice. I found the clutch on a volkswagen beetle (old school) to be terrible. The crossfire has a relatively easy clutch.
THIS IS OFF THE TOPIC BUT RELATED: I know i have issues with the clutch assembly. Instead of engagement somewhere around the middle of clutch pedal travel it's at the upper pedal's travel. I have a new clutch kit but am thinking of holding off for a while. The clutch disk does not slip when holding brake and trying to make it slip when putting it in 2nd or 3rd. "Supposedly" a new disk was installed last year. I'm suspecting a weak pressure plate. I have bled the slave cylinder three times "but" dirty fluid may be a contributing factor as there was a lot of moisture in it. I'm making a power bleeder for replacing all fluid in clutch and brakes as they share the same reservoir. Just waiting on a brass hose fitting.

THe secret is to understand that the tach should not increase much at all until the clutch is fully engaged.
WHere did I learn to use a clutch? At age 12 on a Yamaha 80cc dirt bike. When we got the bike to our campsite (Dad bought me the bike while we were on vacation), he took 5 minutes to teach me to NOT speed the engine up prior to clutch engagement. You do NOT increase throttle until you feel the clutch start to engage and the crank speed start to drop. I hate to hear an engine rev when someone is trying to "get moving" using a clutch, it's a sign that person has not been taught.
Of course, if you are RACING, you would be way more abusive.....

I suppose I should answer the question. I believe it is adjustable, talk to a tuner such as Rob at Needwings or James/Josh at the MSS.
WHile they are in there, ask them to do the -10C fan mod and your temp needle will never reach the 1/2 way point as the coolant will never go above 190F. You will notice colder AC at stoplights as well.

Have you tried cleaning throttle plate/body assembly? You may also consider installing an oil catch can to keep the intake clear after cleaning.

Yes I did when I cleaned the MAF last week. The RPM's are correct as being normal. I'm just wanting to know if it's possible the rpm's can be adjusted a little higher as just being a personal preference.. "Maybe it would help if I took the metal punji stick protection plate out of my shoes! They are pretty heavy!" LoL

When I first joined the Crossfires, I went to the Dragon event that October. I showed up wearing my heavy work shoes and my new friends told me "You can't control the car wearing those".
I slipped away and went to Robbinsville and got some $20 cheap, light "tennis shoes". It made a tremendous difference in how I could control the car. To this day, I drive with such shoes all the time, other than when on "Animal"....
